Good car park with plenty of space but awful ticket machines. Took three attempts with the bank card to get a ticket. Slow and clunky. Attempted to download the app instead but the setup looked painful. Nearly missed our Christmas special service at the museum as a result.

Lovely Multi Storey. We used it for the Polar Express Experience. Plenty of parking. Decent sized parking spaces. Speed bumps on the way in are very high.

A large railway siding of tracks with sheds showing engines being rebuilt, & coaches with trucks also being rebuilt, helpful notice boards with information, covered seating area, engine turntable, engine refueling building and ashbox emptying area. Long Covered Walkway way to car park. Very interesting place to visit, helpful staff.

Be warned! Thieves are operating here. We had our catalytic converter stolen while parked directly in front of cameras. Security guard confessed it had happened before and that he was on reduced hours. You may as well park down a dark alley. DO NOT park a hybrid car here.

Ticket machines did not work today (27/5/23). Several people tried and no luck. Train staff did their best but said the car park was run by a 3rd party company so totally understand. But what do you do if you dont have access to an app? No option unless you have an app.Also road signs are not clear to say head to long term parking... if you go to parking by station you have one hour max.Walk to station is 5 mins minimum... staff advised 10 mins... which i agree with.It is a car park... no facilities.I suspect there maybe parking tickets issued today through no fault of those wanting to use a basic facility.

Stay away from APCOA parking if you are from North America. I parked on May 27 when the previous reviewer was saying the machines were broken. If the machines aren’t working at the station there is no way to download their app, no way to contact them without a British phone (to get verifying text) or submit a claim when fined (need a UK postal code). But when you want to pay your 50£ fine it goes through smoothly! Of course. Paid 92£ to park that day with no way to appeal. I was basically robbed by this company. Stay away. Park somewhere else.

I always avoided this when commuting to London, and cycled to the station instead. Car parking charges are another blight on the commuter IMHO. However, I used this car park on a Sunday recently, and to be fair it was only 5 pounds or so to park all day.

Abysmal parking facility. Modern, large and largely unused when we used it (Tuesday/August), probably because none of the ticketing machines were working. We spent over half an hour attempting to buy a parking ticket using a debit card at each of the three ground floor machines, all resulting in voided transactions (after a significant wait). We eventually had to resort to downloading the Apoca car parking app to pay. Good job we were on holiday and hadn’t booked ahead for a particular train, because we would surely have missed it! If you’re providing machines for people to use, at least make sure the technology works for them to be able to be used. It shouldn’t be complicated. Abysmal!

Clean and well laid out. They have ticket machines which take cards. You can also use the ringo app.

Always loads of space, clean, brightly lit, good sized parking spaces. They use the APCOA app though. Exactly, I hadn't heard of it either. Everyone's used to RingGo these days so it was a bit of a faff having to install and setup their app, which was not slick at all.
