The Grange Park Greenway

Λίγη λάσπη εννοείται.Αλλά η φύση έχει μεγάλη αξία!!!

I love this park for walking my dogs, it has a countryside feel in the middle of Burslem and Cobridge and connects a few other parks together such as Festival Park, Cobridge, Burslem. The canal runs alongside which you can cheekily access with a little bit of ingenuity, it has sloping banks for the dogs to cool down in and get a drink. Loads of wildlife as well, butterflies, bunnies, bees etc. Plenty of different paths to take too.Knocked one star off because unfortunately it is currently blighted by a group of older teenage boys who think it's super clever to set fire to everything. And I mean everything. Patches of grass, trees, whole shrubs, benches, kids play equipment, fences... The police aren't interested whatsoever. Sometimes there are a few bits of drug paraphernalia particularly at the (now burned down) bench at the bottom of the steps near the kids play area. The council aren't great at sorting it. Burslem park is the jewel in their crown and all the other local parks are the poor cousins!Nevertheless I adore this park.with a bit of official input this could be a real destination.

Very scenic, relaxing walk this morning at 8am. The frost hadn't yet broken and I observed both squirrels and one rabbit innocently playing in the iced grass. The birds were chirping on the leaf ridden trees. What a refreshing start to a positive day.

Calm and great place for refresh your mind

I have only seen Grange Park from the Bursley road side.
