Excellent treatment. Connor Hichens always takes time to explain what he is doing and the reasons why. The practice is always spotlessly clean and all the staff are very friendly and professional. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a dentist in the Thornbury area.

The reception staff are very friendly. Leire Gomez de Segura carried out root canal treatment and did a superb job. Not cheap as I went private but worth every penny. I would highly recommend this practice.Thanks so much.

As a person with a fear of dentists who had not visited one in 8 years i can honestly say Dentist Tim Lindop and Nurse Lisa made me feel at ease. They were friendly and professional and i cannot recommend them highly enough. Tim took the time to thoroughly explain to me what he was going to do before beginning which took a lot of my anxiety away. After explaining my concerns Tim was very patient and understanding and the injections i received were very gentle. An excellent dental practice with exceptional staff, i wont be going anywhere else in future.

I have been a patient at the Bank cottage dental for few years now and I am extremely happy with the experience I get with every visit.Having a slight panic and fear of going to dentists all my life, going to the Bank cottage Dental makes the visit so much easier.On arrival to the Dental practice you are greeted with a warm welcome from the friendly staff and your dentist, hygienist and the dental nurses make me feel relaxed during my visit.Having had some gum disease now for a while I have had to have a very regular appointment (which is not easy for me as I panic about going) to try and get it back in control and with all the treatments and the patience Dr Hitchens has given me, its much better and in good working progress.The practice have been very good through out the whole Covid situation aswell. The hygiene of the practice and social distancing at the waiting room how the waiting chairs were organised was really good and made you feel comfortable entering the practice.Reception staff are very helpful and will do their up most to allocate you the earliest appointments possible.I truly would recommend Bank Cottage Dental to anyone including children because of my experience regarding service, professional care and procedures.I have a bit of distance to travel to get to the practice as I don’t live near Thornbury but the travel is worth it for the care I receive whilst I’m there.Thank you Bank Cottage Dental for looking after me with every visit.

I went to see Tim Lindop as I haven't been to the dentist in about 5 years. Dentists usually scare me! Tim was great, very calm and explained everything to me. He was very chatty, which put me at ease and I felt very comfortable as he checked my teeth. He also managed to take off the glue from a bace I had over 16 years ago, which no dentist has ever done. I now have very smooth teeth and feel more confident smiling because it looked like a stain on my front teeth. His dental nurse Lisa was also very lovely and chatty and smiley! This is a dental practice I will be returning to and have definitely found a gem of a dentist!

I joined Bank Cottage after an emergency dental situation, caused by a lack of care by my previous dentist. I've been with them for over 12 years now and even though I could find treatment nearer to where I live, I can't imagine that it would be as thorough. Their service and aftercare is excellent.
