Stocked up from the butcher today, just eaten the most amazing fillet steak. Best we’ve had in a very long time.Looking forward to haunch of Venison tomorrow.

Best fillet steak around. Good fresh produce and very helpful staff.

The way it used to be. Good products and service, sorely missed but still available if you know where to find it.

Well worth a visit. Superb meat etc, and very friendly helpful staff.

Lovely butchers, fish mongers, and deli

A most excellent farm shop with good quality meat and other provisions.Another plus is you can also grab a takeaway coffee or drink one within the small coffee shop

Love coming to do a bit of shopping here. Very good quality tasty products. Always something new to try. Nice small cafe reasonably priced aswell

It was the first time I've been to Vicars Game and I was impressed with it overall, especially the one way system so you could see everything on offer without it being too crowded. The deli service wasn't great though unfortunately. We waited for the guy on the deli to finish serving the person before us and then once he had, he disappeared into the back. When he came back out there were a few people in the queue behind us but he skipped us completely and went to the person after us. The customer behind us was the one to ask if we'd been served. We ended up not getting anything at the deli. Thankfully the service at the other counters was much better.There's a lot of choice in the shop including fresh produce, the deli counter, preserves, cakes and a well stocked butcher's section. The sausages and bacon are delicious.There's also a little cafe which does great sandwiches, including their bacon and sausages, and the coffees were delicious too. There's also an ice cream freezer for hot summer days!There's a truck with fresh flowers outside next to the car park as well and the flowers look absolutely beautiful.You could say it's a little on the expensive side but you definitely get what you pay for. The location can be a little tricky to get to if you're not familiar with it but sat nav will take you right there. They have a lovely little seating area outside and they also have toilets. There's plenty of free parking too.Overall I would recommend it but I was disappointed with the deli counter service.
