Good price very good communication from the first phone call to the end result of the product delivery.

I ordered 3 tons of scalpings , gave explicit instructions to put inside square of gravel boards. I also asked if they could knock and look at some other stone, to see if they could supply me . They dumped it most of it on the drive not in the area indicated did not knock, I have three dogs that bark, a very poor service.

Brilliant service from office to delivery.The lady in the office was very helpful considering I didn't really know what I was asking for ( I was under instruction from the hubby). I ordered 1 ton of topsoil. It arrived with a few stones on the top and I was told that they were probably in the bucket when it was put in the truck. This is supposed to be 'screened' topsoil - meaning to me that it has gone through a mesh of 0.5 to 1". This had rocks and stones well over 1" and even a few large pieces of brick. I complained via Smilers online email requesting an explanation - not a refund - but heard nothing. I don't judge companies by the odd bad experience but how they deal with complaints. I had to sieve 1 ton of this crap and add compost to bring it back to life. No apology. No explanation - just a bitterly dissatisfied customer.If Smilers bother to contact me
