We stopped in on this collection of craft shops on our journey. Some lovely selections of artisan crafts; pottery, woodwork, basketry etc.. Quite unique items. Very quiet and not like your normal craft centre. They also provide courses. Not all of it was to our taste but then it would be to others. We chatted to the wood crafter who is amazingly talented. He makes some beautiful furniture, mirrors and smaller items.

Jeremy is a great teacher. He makes his own clay, which throws wonderfully. On the course I attended, (Big Improvers) I learnt a lot through his one on one tuition and demonstrations. There is a wonderful lunch provided each day, which you eat outside under a large gazebo. Great fun, in an attractive setting.

Lively centre for local crafts, a proper community of artists whose work is surely enhanced by being surrounded by other artists. Definitely worth dropping in to visit the gallery and buy something unique.

Really interesting & expressive ceramics, individually from Jem, Petra & Patia and great that you can use them day to day too. The woodworkers & weavers also produce immaculate work, surely lifting each other in this very exciting community of artists.Super place to visit, chat with the residents and bring some beautifully crafted art into your life.

I attended a teapot making course here and had a great time with lovely people in idyllic rural surroundings. Jeremy is a great teacher and his wife Petra provided us with brilliant food.
