I had a poor experience at the cbt training in wood green. Initially surprised by this I've been reading recent reviews and noticed a couple of similar themes that seemed to have started recently (despite good reviews overall)Recently attended a cbt at this training school. I don't believe I was fairly treated. One instructor was particularly rude when he told me I hadn't done enough on the figure of 8 or turn in the road so he wouldn't allow me to progress to the on road section of the course.1st reason I believe this was unfair was I was not told at the time the this was the case. Nor was I told when my last attempt would be.Certainly would not class this course as 'training'. Attitude was abrasive and unsupportive.2nd reason i believe I've been treated unfairly was that the instructor took an instant dislike to me. When I arrived I was immediately told I was too late and that i should go home. In truth I was late however I had gone to the wrong side of the site and spent time trying to find the start location. There was no signage at the main entrance to direct learners to the correct side of the centre. I believe that this was the point that the trainer took a dislike to me and that he took ant opportunity he could to fail me.Further adding to my suspicions I don't believe the trainer working with the instructor in charge agreed with his decision (and insistence that he had no tome to observe me an additional time.)This was the third cbt that I have taken passing the previous 2 with no issues. The attitude and support is very different here to cbts I have previously attended where much more time was allocated to any rider that struggled with a particular exercise and more help given in terms of coaching. I have also reported the trainer involved to dvsa as I believe his actions to be a fairly common 'cowboy trainer' trick.

Tom was the best instructor. Great banter, and highlight was the Selco cafe.

I had a great experience with JP. I went from having zero experience riding a motorcycle to passing my CBT on a geared motorcycle. He showed great patience and even gave me extra attention as the other riders were all experienced.

Not a good experience. Felt like Motorbike test day rather than Basic Training. Expecting beginner motorist to behave like a seasoned road user seems a bit much. DVSA officer being present didn't help things as the instructor herself seemed nervous. Im not the most confident rider but I suppose nobody is in the beginning of their motoring journey. Feel far less confident using the road now than I felt this morning. Seems like I should have about 30h of riding time with instructor and passed theory test to pass CBT today. Effectively put me off pursuing motorcycle license. The 'trainer' herself was bad. Clearly a novice as she had to read out 'training' questions and answers from a phone. If you are supposed to be training people, you should know it all by heart in my opinion. When DVSA official arrived the trainer became increasingly overzealous and unreasonably strict. What started as a positive learning experience quickly turned into hostile examiner environment. On the road part was incredibly frustrating as the 'trainer' would just speak constantly over the earpiece and confusions would arise so we would stop and be literally told off by her.She took novice motorist for a ride down A406 which is just plain insane as even experience riders avoid this road due to the density of traffic and it being difficult route. Finally we have been instructed that we HAVE to drive at the road speed limit, which is completely against what's written in highway code. This wasn't TRAINING at all. It's incredible that novice instructor is allowed to put beginning motorist in what is frankly life threatening situations. There should be supervision from experienced trainer there.Save yourself some money and go to reputable driving school.

Had such a wonderful experience. I went twice. My instructor for the firs lesson was Simon, and the second, was Tom.They were such friendly, and accommodating gentlemen. They made the experience overwhelmingly positive. When they explained my faults and how to improve, it was very well explained, and in a very calm manner.I have had so much anxiety in the past and when I explained that, as well as other special needs, they were very ok with that, and helped me work through it all, and I an proud to say they helped me get my CBT.Thoroughly recommend the school.

Great training was by Rob and Gen .Many thanks for their professionalism. Special thanks go to Osman for his care & amazing service skills.I am glad to recommend A2Z Cbt Training Centre.Tips for car owners: You may park your car FOC once you enter via the gate closer to office of A2Z,however I think that you may call them one day before of your training in order to arrange the parking smoothly.

Good experience doing my CBT with the Chief Instructor Simon. He's a very knowledgeable guy with seemingly unlimited patience. I had got great feedback while training and thought the day was very helpful for my journey to get a full licence. Would recommend.

I took my CBT course back in August! I had an amazing time: great trainers, all explained very clear and enough time to try and correct.I was the only female in the group, but didn't feel uncomfortable at any point. Trainers were very easy going and made us laugh a lot :) Thank you again! I highly recommend. PS. I passed my CBT.
