Blairadam Forest Car Park

I love this place and have made loads of videos with it but I recently had a scary experience with what I think was one of these alleged wild cats there and it matched up with the stories of others even without knowing about it. I didn't know much about the area because I wasn't living there. I've walked here for hours on my own in very remote parts of the forest but I wouldn't feel comfortable doing it anymore. Please be careful here especially if walking alone. There are sightings of both cougar and panther here after release of animals into wild and breeding there following on from the Dangerous Animals Act think it was in the 70s? Think what I experienced was cougar. Thanks for reading.

Great place to go with your dog . So far we have only ever met dogs who are happy around other dogs. This is a great rail if your not that great on your feet as well as there is a well trodden path for walking

Great area for a walk, take our dogs their regularly. Unfortunately a few fellow dog owners don't clean up after their dogs or leave poo bags on trees expecting the dog poo fairy to collect them.Three marked routes but these can be extended somewhat to the North and West. Bikers use the smaller routes between main tracks as well.

Great place for family walk, no any issue with stroller or wheelchair, fully accessible place, few parking spaces at the beginning of the route down and few more at the bottom. Keep speed down, respect other users, wild life and lots of pedestrians with kids. Enjoy amazing place!

This is a great area for walking. Lots of different trails to follow depending on your energy levels and how far you want to walk. Dogs love it. Horses also come here.

A carpark with access to to the forest with a good selection of walks.

Beautiful forest...grew up in village joined to forest and love returning for walks. Deer throughout forest. Great walks on forest paths and trails that lead off. Hubby enjoys mountain biking there now.
