Cyngor Gwynedd Council

They keep sending red warning council tax bills to me even though I keep emailing them back asking them to address what seems to be an error on their part re: the total. If they continue to do so I will take legal action for distress. It's not acceptable. They also relentlessly call me (while I'm at work and busy etc which I obviously ignore) without any pre-notice at all. Why are they even phoning people?? it's not the 1950s. It's like they don't know that in 2023 it is rude to phone someone without prior warning.

Waste and bins, well, they only have one man per lorry to empty the bins, especially in the summer months.I have no problem . Thhalooked2nd week with no boxes collected recycling

Totally unhelpful staff who can’t be bothered. Promises for 2 days to send an e mail to me of my council tax bill, never arrived. Sent to every department because no one knew where to send me. Queue for 50 mins. Disgusting customer service.

Bin collections! What a joke.This is not the first time our recycling bins have not been emptied, for some reason, god only knows what, they leave the glass bottles? We pay enough in rates and emptying bins is not the most difficult job to do so why can't they do it? I could understand you get monkeys if you pay peanuts but these guys are on a good screw, or is it they have not been taught how to empty a bin?

Noticed nobody’s recycling bins have been emptied today so went on the councils web page to see that they are on strike due to pay.. are they having a laugh!!!!! The absolute cheek of it!!! Want more money not to do your jobs properly. Jokers.I hope you don’t get a pay rise, you don’t deserve it in my opinion. Maybe try doing your jobs properly, empty bins and actually take away the rubbish you drop out side people’s property’s and maybe then you might be seen to actually deserve a pay rise!! The nhs fought hard for there’s and still didn’t get what they deserve, Gwynedd council is an absolute joke run by absolute jokers!!! Seen the state on Bangor lately!

Most departments helpful and efficient - however waste and bins beyond belief awful. They do not care. The worst council department I have ever had any dealings with. The service, attitude and excuses or reasons made for not collecting bins are so exceptionally bad it is almost funny. Only way to handle this incredibly sub-standard service

Dreadful. They have a complaints procedure which means nothing as they don't even abide by their own 20 working day policy for a response. Its outrageous how they can treat members of the public so badly. They don't even comply with the timescales set out to them by the Ombudsman. They think they can do what they like and tread on people in the process. Its about time organisations like this were shaken up and the dead wood got rid of.

Kept billing me despite the fact I've submitted my student certificate proving I'm in full time education mulitple times. Every time I've contacted them phone queues are long and staff are unhelpful. I've had staff put me on hold while I was trying to explain my situation without warning, I then spent over ten minutes listening to some God aweful music on hold.

No doubt they are one of the best council of all. Everyone's working and helping with such beautiful smile, felt like you know them for long. They will help you in everyway possible. Such a nice and friendly environment.
