Amazing food, both courses. Lovely place to have a meal, but be warned it can be very noisy on a weekend evening.

The food was good and great value for money, I had the Flat Stake and my wife some gluten free vegan option.We agreed the food was good - actually very good for the price - but have had better.The service was excellent - once special needs were identified only qualified staff could interact thus ensuring our needs were catered for.We went to the restaurant section - the timings for drinks, reading the menu, not being pressured were excellent as were the staff.The atmosphere was perfect for me. Music was loud enough to be heard whilst still being able to talk.We had a good view of the entrance, queues were dealt with efficiently.A really good place to go for good food, good atmosphere, and great service.

Really cool atmosphere with great food and service.I was worried because this place is a chain, but after walking in and seeing the vibe, I was put at ease. I ordered the breakfast sandwich and it was really amazing. Bacon and sausage and a hash brown and an egg, honestly you can’t beat that. My only complaint is the coffee was a little too bitter. Otherwise I’ll definitely be back.

Fabulous food and drinks. Steak was cooked to perfection. Our server Poppy was brilliant. So friendly and attentive. Highly recommended.

Great food, great service, great atmosphere, great everything! The cocktails are amazing and compliment the food. Staff understand gluten free requirements and a gluten free menu is available. I’d highly recommend the Cosy Club to everyone visiting York and looking for a drink and meal.

Booked a table as expected it to be busy but wasn't too bad. Staff you buy very attentive and helpful. Taken straight to table and drinks order taken. All table service. waitress kept popping back to check everything was ok and ask if we needed another drink. Made a change not having to do a Peter Kay impression to get their attention.Well decorated and a nice atmosphereGood menu not the cheapest but good selection. Food came quickly and we both really enjoyed what we had. Came on recommendation and proved to be a good choice

Was in York visiting and stumbled across Cosy Club. Pop inside as the exterior looked interesting and was not disappointed with the interior either, apparently it was previously a theatre. The staff were friendly and courteous, their 2-4-1 on cocktails was exceptional (didn't have to be the same cocktail). Was there for a few hours making my way through as many as I could before I had to leave. Unfortunately I did not dine here but the food looked good and the restuarant filled up pretty quickly

Booked for a family Sunday Breakfast. Food was mediocre to be honest. Not bad just not great unfortunately. The service was lovely though and all staff were friendly and always helpful. The surroundings were lovely too. Just the food could of been better cooked and better plated.
