We had a long waiting time . The food is good but it is not the actual taste of indian cuisines .The dishes we had were not having the real taste of India

Cozy nice Indian restaurant with great vegetarian options. Tasty food with generous portions. The staff is attentive and friendly. Would definitely go back.

Called them to confirm if they had dal makhani and they said they did have it. Then we placed an order for dal makhani, paneer butter masala and biryani with garlic naan. The food was all sugar and no salt, like the chef messed up. The dal makhani was yellow dal tadka. They are frauds and not even sorry about lying to customers. Do not recommend at all.

Firstly the place needs a full refurbishment, the carpet is disgusting and leading up the stairs to the loo I have never seen anything like it would recommend a new carpet and clean and paintwork. Let's hope the kitchen was cleaner. We ended up having to go over to the bar to nudge them for the bill and there were only 3 other tables in and ourselves so not like they were overly busy.Two staff serving the food however was really nice.

The place is nice and conveniently located. The downsides were that some of the stuff was not friendly and that the food was no that good. The menu featured a lot of items but most of them did not taste authentic. All the dishes had a lot of room for improvement. Nevertheless the food was not BAD.

People were kind and accommodating however I feel like the food wasn’t very tasty. We chose this restaurant as it had the best Indian reviews in Kendal. It was fine.

Takeaway order was wrong, food was ok. Too much sugar and food colouring added to the food. The food is tailored more for western taste if you want authentic then I wouldn't get it from here.
