I am 83 years old and have eaten more carryout fish suppers than I care to remember but what we were given this evening was easily the worst I’ve ever been served.The grease was oozing out of the wrapping bag and paper.The chips were very small and uninviting.The cod was cremated ie burnt, dry and obviously had been reheated several times.I will never ever buy there again.I remember when Bridie’s had an amazing reputation.£16 or so wasted.One star flatters what we were served.

You get a very good sized bag of chips here and the fish is also really good. The service can be slow at times compared to other chip shops, but overall it’s a solid chippy.
