Newburgh Holyrood Cemetery

A quiet peaceful place with magnificent views across the River Ythan , well maintained though with limited parking .Situated at the end of Inch Road off the A975 in Newburgh village and situated on the bank of the Foveran Burn where the burn runs into the River Ythan. This is a small graveyard on the site, which is still in use with 19th and 20th century gravestones.The family vault of the Udny family lies at the back of the graveyard.I enjoy visiting this site on a clear bright lit sunshine day , it’s calming and serene , there are about 500 headstones in the cemetery .
