We're pleased about the care at Glenbrae Practice (informally recommended to us by 'Valley Kennels'). Particularly, this Practice really does pay attention to detail, working to 'get to the bottom of things'. Our 're-homed' dog had an intermittent limp, but showed no sign of pain on veterinary examination. Prior to registering with Glenbrae, no further action was taken. However, the consultation at Glenbrae Practice was most thorough & conscientious, including close reference to previous vet. records before we re-homed her. The vet. then recommended further specialist investigation - which thankfully identified cause of the limp. The vet. showed us scan result, explaining this clearly; also advising what we can practically do, to prevent pain/discomfort; prescribing an analgesic which was monitored and tapered off. Our dog now rarely limps, and runs confidently without discomfort/pain. No need for analgesia. Improved quality of life. Great! This Practice also cares well, with gentle kindness, for our timid 'rescue' cat. [One minor suboptimal experience is phoning for a consultation - it's respected call handlers are busy, perhaps short-staffed; but a few minutes to check which vets are available, enter appointment in diary etc., would be helpful.]

I attended Glenbrae Bearsden branch on Sat 21st October for an emergency appointment for my catStefan was brilliant with my cat, he gave her a very thorough examination and recommended she be transferred urgently to the animal hospital, he spent hours contacting the hospitals trying to make sure she got seen as soon as possible and kept me updated throughout the process. I suspect he was still working on this on Saturday night during his free time. He was also very understanding with me when I became upset.Thankfully my cat is now finally home with us recovering but the outcome could have been so different as it transpired she was incredibly ill. There was a high chance she wasn't going to survive.I genuinely believe Stefan's fast acting and thorough care is a massive factor in my cat still being with us today. Clearly a man who is great at his job.Whilst in the animal hospital my cat needed a blood transfusion and I learned later it was another staff member of Glenbrae, Julie, who took her cat to the hospital to be a blood doner for her. It is evident the staff here are so passionate about animals.Thank you so much to the amazing and caring staff at Glenbrae, my Daughter and I are so grateful for our second chance with our girl.

From registration to arrival and consultation everyone was very welcoming and helpful. Consultation was not rushed, informative and clear plan for treatment. Lots of helpful information on website plus love the option of being able to book online.

Recommend by a friend and always receive a warm welcome at reception and from the vets themselves. They keep you updated when your pet is due check ups and tablets.

We changed from another local vet and we are glad we did. Glenbrae are more friendly and more interested in our pets and always welcoming when we have visited. We would and have recommended this vet to family and friends.

Tried to charge me £1.50 for a plastic syringe and urine sample container when first time it was free and considering what I’ve paid so far in tests to pay £1.50 when I’ll be charge a ridiculous fee to test the urine sample on a paper strip worth pennies they’re just taking the piss! No thanks went to hillfoot vets and they actually laughed once they gave me the above for free and the actual test. Paid for another dose of antibiotics and surprise surprise they were cheaper than Glenbrae. Highly recommend using Hillfoot vets rather than this lot.On top of that initial urine sample put in to Glenbrae showed negative but symptoms persisted and surprise surprise second sample was positive. So paid for 2 samples to be tested.
