Just went over this morning, to see a mercedes slk convertable, I had phoned about it yesterday and said I would be over today, greeted by really friendly young lady who showed me the car and said the keys were inside, I tried to start the car and did not even turn over, mechanic came over and jump started it saying it had been lying for a while, started straight away with the jump start, my question is why was the battery flat when they were expecting me, I pointed out that the passenger window would not work from the drivers side but did work from the passenger side and I also questioned why all the lights were appearing to flicker, a new guy appeared who appeared to be the boss, he said this wasnt happening before and he could not explain why this was happening, he then went on to say this car was a bargain at the price they were offering it for, I replied that it was only a bargain if everything was working as it should, he then told if I did not want to buy it that was fine, thanks for coming over. I replied that I was not interested if they knew that their was a fault but were not prepared to fix it or even investigate it and I left. Very poor customer service and this was before purchase, I would give this place a miss.

I bought a Mercedes CLK convertible from Garrowhill Car Sales, 59K miles, M.O.T still valid until October 2023, advertised as fit to drive not for sale as spare parts. I tried to service the car 3 weeks after I bought it, but they wouldn't service it because the trailing arms were so rusted, they didn't want to take the risk to service it and be liable it case it fail apart and I had an accident. I've sent a message to Garrowhill car sales with photos, they've yet to respond.I've taken an appointment with Mercedes to evaluate the damages, and will contact the Motor Ombudsman to make a formal complaint.

Just bought my Corsa at Garrowhill Car Sales and I love it! All the staff were super friendly and helpful. Car is amazing and everything I wanted and more. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for brilliant service and amazing cars at great prices.

An impressive family business where attention to detail and friendliness seems to be very important. They went out of their way to do everything they could to make sure my car was as good as it could be. Buying a used car of a certain age is never sure to be a totally reliable experience but this company provided the best chance of a happy outcome. They went above and beyond normal expectations.

Bought car from this place at start of the year. Noticed after a couple of weeks there was a couple of small chips in the paintwork appeared to be filled with filler that had fallen out. About 5 weeks after I got the car the ABS unit failed whilst I was driving on the motorway. Put it to 3 different garages it ended up at ford specialist. RAC only covered just over half with the warranty and this place refused to pay the remaining 60% to ford to fix it so I had to. Fast forward a couple months and now the car speakers for the stereo and parking sensors aren't working and it appears the exhaust has split under the shaft.Was very polite on the day as you'd assume. I seen the car, bought it and drove it home all within under 2 hours, as soon as the deal was done they couldn't have been more rude about the issues I had with the car. Absolutely no aftercare or support.Would not recommend buying from.
