Easy parking, normally find a space here.As of July 2021,charging Mon-Fri 7am-7pm.Saturdays 7am-1pm.Free on Sat afternoons, Sundays and Public Holidays.Can pay by cash or by phone app (paybyphone)Max stay 4 hoursDoesn't appear to have chargers for electric cars at the moment.

Always plenty of parking available right in town & next to the park.It's free after 1pm on a Saturday to park here which is great & there is a delightful tea room at the entrance to the park which is open on a Saturday also.

Reasonably priced, fair sized, surface car park conveniently placed for accessing the High Street and the neighbouring park. There is the option to pay by coin, app and card (although the two machines I tried both wouldn't take the latter).

Though there are a lot of signs telling you to pay, the sign for fees does not highlight that after 1pm on Saturday to 7 am Monday it is free. The council are getting money when there is no fee. The latest machines require car registration. This device has very small numbers and letters making it hard to read. People like myself with an essential tremor have difficulty pressing the keys and pressing the right key. I do like that if you pay an amount that does not match the fixed rate the machine adds an appropriate amount of time.
