What fun. In a quite run down area, the subterfuge to get in is great fun. Going through the front of a vending machine! Very clever idea, the cocktails are varied, well put together and have brilliant names. The staff are knowledgeable, pleasant and attentive. Well worth the money.

A great bar. Service was a little slow and we went at 6pm. Cocktails were nice. Olive portions are huge.Quirky presentation. They describe the cocktails so well on delivery it would be nice to have a bit more info on the menu, sometimes you're trying to interpret what they're selling.

If I could give this place 20 stars I would! Truly amazing. Each cocktail has their own wee twist and surprise. Cannot wait to come back to Manchester and try your new menu coming out. Let's not forget a huge shout out to the staff 10/10 service and the owners of this place should be proud to have them!

The Washhouse is a very interesting location with great service. All cocktails are based on conspiracy theories and the menu is well done. I had two cocktails: The Elvis isn't dead" and the "Alien abduction". The Elvis one was alright

Quite torn on this. Really liked the concept from start to finish. However, the drinks themselves were nothing to shout about and some just did not work for me. For the price I wouldn't be inclined to return just for the experience alone.

Amazing bar, will def return whenever I'm in Manchester again! The novelty element is so much fun and creative and - best of all - the quality of the cocktails is 5 starts!!

This was my first time at the Washhouse, which was recommended by my friends. We met for cocktails before going on to a restaurant for a meal. What can I say, IT WAS AMAZING!! Loved everything about the place. You're taken on a journey as soon as you enter, it's like a secret den. We were warmly received ( I've forgotten his name), but he was super lovely! Provided contect on the cocktail menu and was able to answer any questions we asked about the cocktails and recommended various drinks that we ordered. Can't remember half the names of them, but they were out of this world!! Because I hadn't eaten, I enquired if they had any snacks, they offered Olives, crisps and I think something else . I ordered crisps which was delivered in a huge paper bag (think Popcorn) and there was a variety of different crisps. My friends who'd claimed they didn't want any snacks soon dived in. They were very moreish and much needed. The server who presented our drinks was lovely and friendly. Very knowledgeable about the cocktails and is a credit to the Washhouse. It made for such a wonderful experience, so much so that we were reluctant to leave but pulled ourselves away because of our reservation. Before we left, my friend mentioned there was another level with a slide, which I was intrigued by. Another member of staff escorted us and unlocked the slide. I was too chicken to try it but my friend did and seemed to enjoy the short trip down. I loved every minute of the afternoon and will definitely return . Highly recommended! If you haven't been, put it on your to do list!

Very unique bar, as you enter you walk through a vending machine door which is a great idea. Inside is really nice and classy. The staff were very attentive and they explained all the cocktails into detail, I bought a cocktail and got a printed off picture of me and my friends with it which was a lovely touch. The cocktail tasted great. It is a more expensive place but it is worth it.

The best cocktail bar i have went to so far. The service was much more elevated compared to other restaurants and bars, and not just for friendliness. When your cocktails are served, they go into detail about the flavour profile, how its made etc. They'll even remake your drink again if you spill it. The experience matches its price. Go to this place if you want to treat yourselves or have an intimate gathering.
