Crafty Cat Play Cafe
We was really looking forward to the crafty cat cafe but the lady working that day (I don’t know if she was the owner or staff) wasn’t very talkative or friendly I could tell she was rushed off her feet and really busy trying to get everything done but it just didn’t feel very welcoming didn’t coerce with any of the children definitely not with my children which I was shocked at because the instagram makes it looks like a real fun welcoming place to come and it just wasn’t?we enjoyed meeting other mums and children and seeing the children play together and I do think the concept of it is really good having a coffee whilst the children play and do crafts but I just think when you work with children you need to have a certain way about you. We will come again and try the crafty cat cafe again maybe on other days it’s better

Love it here, a regular with the little ones. The choice for the kids is amazing and the seasonal sessions are always a must too! I love the owner Emma, she always remembers my daughters name and is literally talked about for days after every time we’ve visited. It’s clear to see the effort the team make and how they contribute to the sessions. Warm and welcoming. So much more interactive than soft play with lots of integrated learning too! Thank you x

So glad we came after meeting the lovely ladies at an event in town earlier this week we came to the cafe and had a really lovely time. Although they were super busy Rebecca still made time to help and answer any questions will definitely be returning! The children enjoyed playing and crafting and I enjoyed cake and a little craft play aswell.

Me & my son have recently visited the crafty cat play cafe for the first time after finding them on Facebook and then checking out the facebook page. I had really high hopes because the website looked great. The lady who served us was nice, I got a can of pepsi and my son some crisps (all reasonably priced) and I watched him play. He had a great time, he especially loved the soft play. The only thing that let it down were the toilets, they were in a bad way. The nappy bin (a tiny tabletop kitchen waste type bin) was overflowing with soiled nappies and smelt horrendous and clearly hadn't been emptied recently. Easily 20+ nappies had been left on the floor to as the bin was full. I never usually point out things like this but the smell was overwhelming and anytime anyone opened the toilet doors to use the facilities, the smell came out. A very easy fix, shame it gets like that.

We had my son's party here and I can't recommend this place enough.Everyone is so friendly and so helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The kids had the full run of the place and there was a perfect balance of free play and party games, bubbles and dancing. The food was more than enough with a mixture of sandwich's, crisps and veg sticks. The gluten free plates for the kids where also amazing. Plus ice-cream and sweets. The crafts where brilliant for the older kids too.We will be back x

We love the Crafty Cat! I take my grandchildren there frequently and we always have a lovely time. It's just such a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and there's loads for them to do; they like the toys inside and the outside space is great, too, even in horrible weather. Given the option, my granddaughter always wants to go to the Crafty Cat.

I got toasted teacakes and hot chocolates for myself and my son. It was really good value and went down a treat. My son loved the play area, especially the little shop bit and the dinosaurs. Lovely having a little area to let them play while I enjoyed a hot drink and can't wait for nicer weather so we can use the outdoors area too.

Booked a party for my daughters first birthday and it was brilliant. It's a fantastic place for kids partys I booked for the under 5 birthday but my 2 older kids went who are 7 and 8 and they found it great. The lady who was on that day was brilliant would recommend to anyone who is wanting to book for a party. Or even to take the kids if they fancy a coffee

A great little Cafe a safe place for children to play and have fun the food is delicious and the kids menu is great a fantastic choice of food and drink I did think it topped it all by giving free juice to kids that was a great jesture.. my only winge really was I didn't think there was enough toys for the older child 4 yrs the youngest was 2 yrs and she loved it don't get me wrong though the eldest still enjoyed himself will definitely book again and just to say we didn't book any craft sessions so maybe the eldest would of really liked getting involved making somethingBut thank you againSo 5 * stars from us
