Collegiate Eclipse

The employees at Eclipse Collegiate are extremely kind and welcoming, and they are helpful with any questions that may arise. In particular, the manager of the cleaning staff at Cardiff Eclipse Collegiate has done an excellent job of maintaining the facility's pristine cleanliness and order. The accommodations are kept immaculate at all times and have a cosy, at-home atmosphere. Dean has always impressed me with his hard work who puts in a lot of effort, in cleaning up everything, and he always has a smile on his face. Thank you.

I can’t fault the staff or the accommodation itself.It’s a great mix of quiet and loud, but this depends on what part of the building you decide to live in. The Tesco Express is really convenient.The only problem is the slow wifi and the maintenance team, as they took 5 months to fix my extractor fan.Already booked to stay next year!!

Eclipse by Prima Vidae is definitely one of the better student accommodations I have ever had the chance of visiting!It is extremely contemporary, well located near the city centre and university and is reasonably priced for what is offered.The facilities and amenities present is wonderful. A cinema room, a games room which has a pool table, foosball, PS4, photo booth. There is also a cinema room and dining room that are extremely fancy and are free for residents to book. The gym and study rooms are great too.Would definitely recommend students in Cardiff to consider eclipse as their accommodation.

Love the vibe of the place, haven't left my room BUT when I have the facilities here have been great - especially the cinema room. For real though the best part about this place are the STAFF!!!!!!!!!!!

Great student accommodation!! Reception staff could not be more helpful! Had a few teething issues on the first day through no fault of theirs but quickly found solutions to help with the situation, thanks to Fleur! Really made to feel at home here!

Eclipse is most certainly one of the best forms of student accommodation in Cardiff and situated in an ideal location within the city - close to all amenities. The staff are friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. If any issues do arise, Paul the manager is extremely efficient and ensures the matter is resolved to your satisfaction without delay. A true asset to the company. The accommodation itself is comfortable, the apartments are big, and good value for money when compared with other similar sites in the city. The site itself is always kept clean and tidy especially the public areas, creating a welcoming impression all around the building. Standards are always maintained at all times and it really is a pleasure to reside here. I would not hesitate in recommending this accommodation to anyone looking to reside in Cardiff

Very high quality student accommodation, maintenance is fast, rooms are lovely and staff is really kind. They're really helpful, Fleur is always super accomodating at reception, definitely recommend!

Do NOT stay here - extremely disapointing stay, you can get much better value for money else where:So many silverfish - raised this issue atleast 4 times and nothing was done to fix it,Empty walls - can hear everything flat mates are doing - therefore extremely limited sleep during my whole stay,Doors slam extremely loudly and shake the whole building - another issue that causes extremely limited sleep,Charged £378 (£2,268 total - split between 6 flatmates) for something a singular flatmate did, admitted to and said would pay the full charge but still decided to charge the rest of the flat too,Hot water doesn't work the majority of the time, therefore cold, weak pressured showers every day - this issue was also raised a bundle of times and yet nothing was done about it,Wifi is down 90% of the time,Have seen rats/mouse running around in the courtyard,People being noisy, playing loud music and shouting in the courtyard until very early hours of the moring (up to 5am),People playing football in the courtyard, smashing the ball against the building (i stayed in a ground floor flat) - nothing is done about this,Free breakfast" is a bowl of fruit which is meant to accomodate 1000 students how?

Look elsewhere, this place is not what it might look.The cleanliness is awful in the whole building and my room was filthy when I moved in. I have been locked from inside my room because of the lock mechanism breaking (fire hazard???), my shower drain hardly works, all of the cupboards are falling off their hinges, and the free breakfast" is literally one fruit bowl for a building of 1000+ people. My toilet was broken and it took nearly a week for it to be fixed after reporting it. Plus I can't even begin to list how many times the wifi has been down. I feel for the part-time employees because they are very polite

Great Accomodation with all the facilities needed for a comfortable stay. The staff are lovely in particular Fleur who is always on the desk . Prompt and very friendly when you need help!Claire x
