Trailbrakes Biking Holidays

Trailbrakes organised transport, accommodation and route information for us to cycle the C2C Whitehaven to Tynemouth. The organisation was faultless, the transfer of us and our electric bikes from our car in Tynemouth to Whitehaven was excellent, the accommodation was also first class as well as the GPX files for the route and all the additional information. Thankfully we didn’t need any assistance on our trip but it was very reassuring to know that help was only a phone call away. Thank you to Peter and Christine for enabling us to have a great trip.

Our experience with Trailbreaks has been a wonderful pleasure, and has given us lots of good experiences to remember. A friend and I have ridden both the Galloway gravel adventures and the West Highland way, and it has been invaluable to know that our luggage would be waiting at the end of each day at really nice accommodation. We chose to ride self-guided, and the materials provided by Peter and Christine are exceptional, as are the routes (we really appreciated the fact that the entire West Highland Way route is made rideable by several clever detours, and took advantage of shortcuts whenever the energies where lacking!).All in all, I can wholeheartedly recommend Trailbrakes, and I am extremely likely to ride with them again in future.

The Trailbrakes team were brilliant at putting together a bespoke holiday for us at relatively short notice. The logistics all worked beautifully and we had a really great family holiday cycling coast to coast along Hadrian's Wall. Really recommend them.

Awesome trip planned by Peter and Christine in the Lake District. Amazing routes, with plenty of options en-route. The B&Bs were top notch quality and the hosts could not do enough for us with secure bike storage in both locations, seamless luggage transfer between hotels. It's rare to find such slick and well run trips these days but Trailbrakes have got it nailed.

It's a simple formula: drive to a beautiful part of the country; check in to your simple but welcoming accommodation; pack your rucksack for a day's riding; plug in the route on your device of choice; zip up your suitcase for delivery to the next overnight stop; and ride! Having ridden with Trailbrakes twice across different versions of the England C2C, I can say that their route planning and their organisation are both excellent. And if something does go wrong, they're at the end of the phone to fix it. Enjoy!

Eight seniors enjoyed a three day ride from Silloth to Tynemouth following NCN 72. The organisation completed by Trailbrakes was excellent. Hotel accommodation was very good, and the baggage transfer and taxi back to the start on completion of our ride worked very smoothly.
