Literally the worst kebab I have had in years.I moved to Canada in 2017 and always look forward to getting a decent kebab when I visit home. So I was hugely disappointed by this place. I actually chose this place because it had a kind of greasy look to it, like a decent kebab shop normally does. Turns out it's just greasy.Despite being sat at a table directly in front of the counter waiting for our order (myself and my Canadian partner), we were not asked what we wanted on our kebabs.We got 2 small lamb kebabs.When we got the kebabs home the meat was greasy, tough and chewy. The garlic sauce which we got separately was curdled and inedible.The order of halloumi we got was undercooked (So could eat it, but could have been better). The cheesy chips were actually decent. Can't fault those.Gutted I wasted one of my few precious meals in England at this place.Don't waste your money here.

Great little takeaway, everything cooked fresh on the grill in front of you, really friendly, pleasant owner and staff. Great end to I night out in York.

Absolute rip off. Nearly £30 for half a dozen bits of over cooked meat and frozen chips microwaved with cheese. Far better options in York for the price.

Horrible food didn't even taste or look like lamb. Horrible taste wouldn't use again! Waste of money

Really poor takeaway.Dry, really over cooked chicken served with just a couple pieces of lamb and kofte for £26 including sauce (which you also have to pay extra for?)At least they can cook chips properly.Almost feels illegal that I payed £30 for such a small portion of kebab and chips. Avoid.

This is simply the best place in York for authentic Lebanese food. The meat from the grill is delicious and the lamb chops especially good! Staff are really friendly. They also have a refreshing homemade mint drink to try!

Best Lebanese takeaway I've had, they even gave us hummus on the house which was some of the best hummus we've tried.Staff were lovely, will be coming back soon!

After wanting to try chicken shawarma for a good few months now I finally bit the bullet when walking passed this place while away for a couple nights in York. It smelt devine and seeing the rotisserie chicken over the hot coals drew us in. I was definitely impressed, beautiful food, fantastic customer service and a absolute pleasure to have bought here. Definitely worth going. Couldn't recommend it enough.

I ordered via just-eat. The person who answered the phone was speaking another language and used a curse word instead of (Hello) and did not know that I understand it. I did not react and talked in english. He asked me to cancel my order via just-eat and order via Deliveroo or Uber-eats to get my food otherwise it will take me 2 hours. If this is an employee they need to fire him. If it is an owner then this is a massive shame. This was my first time to try them and I decided I will never do.

Arrived with my family. 4 of us at around 10pm. Brilliant service by the team and the food, oh wow it is delicious!!! Thank you so much, looking forward to next time.
