Laundra Dry Cleaning, Laundry, Alterations & Repairs

Having seen the positive reviews, I trusted Laundra to dry clean my *brand new* tuxedo jacket, which I had only worn once. However, when I went to pick it up I discovered that whatever cleaning process they had used had destroyed the velvet material, leaving the jacket looking worn and patchy.After pointing this out, it took two weeks of back and forth and multiple visits to the shop to even talk to the manager. Instead of accepting that they had handled my jacket carelessly and caused this damage, she tried to blame the damage on a ‘lack of cleaning instructions’. I would have expected a dry cleaning company to be able to dry clean clothing without having to be told how to do it?Additionally, they took it upon themselves to replace the destroyed buttons with buttons made out of a completely different material, ruining the look of the jacket even more. They even sewed one of the cuffs completely shut in their attempt to fix their blunder.Awful service and lack of care to admit and fix their mistakes. If you care about your clothes, avoid at all costs.

Not normally one to leave reviews especially not bad ones but not happy with this service. I brought in a ball gown that my puppy had urinated on & they said they’d be able to get the stain out. When I picked it up a week later the stain looked the same and it still stunk of wee. To me it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned. I would have understood if the stain hadn’t come out but it still stunk and was unwearable. I also would have been understanding if they had rung me and let me know or at the very least told me when I picked it up but they tried to give it back to me without letting me know it’s still stained and smells? I asked for a refund and they said no because they have cleaned it. I took my dress to another dry cleaners who agreed they hadn’t cleaned it and said it definitely shouldn’t still smell like urine. The other dry cleaners laundered my dress free of charge and got both the stain and smell out and now it looks good as new. I just wished they’d been honest and let me know they couldn’t get the stain/smell out or given me a full/part refund. Photos are of before I have them the dress and after they returned it to me.

I just wanted to say how impressed I was with how clean you guys got my down jacket. It was a light color and has been on many climbing trips so it was covered in dirt stains my washing machine couldn't get out.My down jacket now looks brand new and puffier than when I bought it. 10/10 would recommend

I’ve used Laundra to clean a couple of feather duvets and a north face coat, every time they’ve come back as good as new. The lady who collects and delivers the items is so lovely too, would definitely recommend!

I had an urgent alteration to be completed on a suit I purchased online for my wedding which arrived way too big. I only had a few days to have the changes made as I was flying out of the country to get married. The Laundra team exceeded my expectations by arranging an incredibly quick turnaround time considering the amount of work that was required. The quality of the work was amazing and they even went through the trouble of sending the suit to be professionally pressed as the knew it was my wedding. The team were friendly, considerate and professional and left me at ease in what was a stressful situation. I highly recommend them. Well done to Anne and Jay for providing true 5 star service.

Ordered a couple of suits online - they were 3 sizes too big! Laundra and the team were AMAZING! Professionally re-measured and tailored the suits which now fit great! They also re-pressed the trousers to ensure the fold was in the right position.

I booked in with laundra to have my laundry picked up cleaned and returned, it seemed like a great business plan for ease when I have a busy work life. I was offered 2 different slots, picked one and put in my bank details. I received confirmation from laundra 3 hours later. Great so far. Then today I received a text from laundra asking if I was around to have my laundry collected (3 and a half hours before my pre arranged and confirmed slot) I replied to apologise and say I was not able to do now due to being at work (this why I pre booked a slot) they then went on to say they would re arrange it to Saturday, 3 days away and I also work Saturdays so would not work for me. I asked why not as we had pre arranged this time and they had confirmed it and I have been ignored since. You can’t run any business by confirming appointments with customers then cancelling with no reason a few hours before.

Brought my dress because it had a few oil stains on it, and they did a great job cleaning it and were really accommodating of needing it back fast. Would recommend
