Amee Shah Osteopathy St Albans

I visited Amee after suffering from back pain for quite a few years. She came highly recommended by a friend.Amee is a wonderful osteopath. She is friendly and caring. During the initial consultation, she heard all my concerns and addressed each one and I was immediately at ease. I felt a significant pain reduction from the very first session onwards. I keep looking forward to the next visit and will continue with the follow up sessions.Along with myself, she's done wonders for my mother and husband as well, both of whom suffer from back and neck pain. I can't recommend her enough!

Our daughter was 5weeks old when we first took her to see Amee as she would be in such distress any time she was put down on her back. Nappy changes were a nightmare! After just the first appointment we saw amazing changes, our daughter was able to lie on her back without crying for the first time.Really recommend Amee, her calm and gentle approach is brilliant!

Amee is the baby whisperer! I took both my babies to see her in the early weeks when I felt like I was at breaking point dealing with the ‘witching hour’ where they just seemed so unsettled and uncomfortable and cried non-stop from about 5pm until bedtime, despite everything I tried to soothe them. My first arrived via forceps and second emergency c-section so they had both been yanked about a bit at birth. Amee worked magic on both of them, releasing the tension they held from birth, and also releasing their wind which can be horribly uncomfortable and painful for newborn babies. It’s not just the cranial osteopathy that I found so incredibly helpful but also Amee’s practical advice and tips to help me continue to have comfortable, settled and happy babies at home. Whilst midwives and health visitors do a great job, I found that Amee’s advice was honestly the best professional advice I’ve ever been given because it was completely specific to my individual baby and what was making him/her uncomfortable/unsettled. I had two appointments with Amee for both babies and I always leave her feeling so relieved and so much more confident that I know what to do to avoid that dreaded ‘witching hour’ and to continue to have a happy, settled baby. I can’t recommend Amee highly enough, she has been my absolute saviour in those early days in the baby trenches - if you have a newborn or know someone who does and the ‘witching hour’ is a problem then booking an appointment with Amee is the absolute best gift you can give to yourself or your new mum friend. I will be forever grateful to her for her help and for pulling me out of those newborn trenches.

Amee really helped our baby with his stiff neck and tummy issues. Her attention to detail and care service is excellent and I would highly recommend to any new parents struggling with similar issues to see Amee - we didn’t even know about the stiff neck and originally booked for his gas and pooping troubles only.

After a few weeks of back and neck pain not easing, I contacted Amee for help. At the initial consultation i immediately felt at ease as she investigated the source of my pain. After the first session I was already starting to feel so much better, and i only needed two more follow- up appointments until I was pain free. Amee explained everything she was doing and is very caring.Amee also helped make suggestions to improve my posture and provided exercises which I now do regularly.After feeling so much better after her sessions, I’m going to see Amee regularly to keep on top of things.I would definitely recommend her to others.
