I would like to thank the physiotherapist that I saw on Wednesday this week.I had a painful neck for around six weeks, but the day after seeing the physiotherapist much to my relief the pain had gone!I can't remember his name, but I must thank him.Thank you.Eamonn Davies.

The Surgery is poorly managed resulting in many vunerable patients failing to recieve the support care and treatment we all desperately need. Often when you try to get an appointment you are told that there are no appointments available which then leads to patients physical and mental health deterioration. I have had my Important medical information not recorded accurately and know of other patients this has also happened to. I have experienced rudeness and discrimination from both Receptionist's and gp practitioners at the surgery. I suffer from long - term chronic mental health and physical health mobility difficulties which the surgery are aware of however I have not been shown any compassion empathy neither do I feel validated or supported by the surgery which is having a detrimental impact upon my health conditions and wellbeing. I have been increasingly concerned about the negligence and misconduct which I have personally suffered and also witnessed other patients at the surgery suffer. When I have made several complaints which the surgery have failed to resolve and have had to spend hours of my time contacting the Ombudsman and escalate my complaints. I should not have to be requesting for a doctors surgery to explain why they are failing hundreds of patients on a daily basis. All surgeries have a duty to care for their patients and this is clearly NOT currently happening at Portsdown Group Practice and is causing many patients medical problems and negligence which is not acceptable in any way. Everytime I have requested for the surgery to resolve the issue's the surgery have the staff say that it's due to the NHS lack of funding and resources. However it doesn't cost money for proffessionals to show compassion empathy and validation.Something Must be done about this urgently so that myself and other patients can feel empowered to manage our health difficulties and live a healthier happier life.

I cannot fault a few of the drs at this surgery as a few have pushed for the help I need however, I can never do an econsult as it says they open online at 6:30, come 6:30 it says to try again tomorrow and this has been the case since I can remember. Appointments are virtually impossible to get and I have had more negative than positive experiences here. I feel that my health doesn’t matter to this surgery at all but unfortunately I’m not able to change surgeries due to catchment area.

terrible service. nobody seems able to get an appointment. Mrs has tried for 3 weeks so far and no luck. This group of surgeries has a very low review score and should be investigated. If the surgery can see this review, you are playing with peoples lives and could be held accountable legally.

I was forced to change surgeries as I moved home and to remain under the team I am being treated by at St marys I had to choose a portsdown group practice. I desperately need to speak to a doctor and I cannot get through on the phone and the online consultations are all full no matter if you are there waiting at 6:30pm or not. Utter garbage.

Utter waste of time and energy! The doctors themselves are great, but the staff inbetween are uncaring and do nothing to assist with queries. You could fire them all, replace them with a computer (or a couple of competent people) and the quality would increase ten fold... you might actually get some compasion from an AI which would be an improvement. If you want to get the run around, never recieve any kindness, never have an adult conversation and receive bigoted attitudes.... this is the surgery for you.But your pet will have a more welcoming experience at the vets.If you are with the Portsdown Group practice, avoid the Cosham like the plague, Kingston crescent surgery staff are at least kind and caring.... they will try.Switching away from Portsdown Group, was the best decision I've ever made, i advise everyone who reads this to do the same.

Have been advised to get a blood test but couldn't get an GP appointment with Portsdown Group Practice on this NHS app as none available, so managed to book a Phlebotomist blood test which I attended and took time out of a working day and drove to the appoinment at Cosham Park House only to be told couldn't have the blood test as needed to be referred by GP/ Nurse! Why does the NHS app allow you to book a blood test if this is the case? There should be a warning at least that you have to be referred. Was then told by reception that I have to wait until 7 pm to go back on the NHS app when GP telephone appointments will be made available to be referred for blood test appointment. I set an alarm and tried this but by 7.01pm no appointments were available , so now have to try at 10am on Monday the same process. In the meantime my health issue is not being diagnosed or helped and is being made worse by all the stress. What is being done to address the issues with the lack of appointments? I have just moved to area where lots of new houses are being built, if the system can't cope now then what is going to happen in the future?

Refused an appointment this morning despite a collapse over the weekend. Appalling. Apparently my symptoms are not new, despite explaining it could be a medication problem or a drop in blood pressure. Waited for 30 minutes in a queue to be turned away. Frightening. I was told by 111 that I need to see my GP to urgently discuss.

awful doctors surgery, you get messed about with which service to call and no matter what time you call they say that they are booked up and to try again tomorrow. I've been calling exactly when it opens every day for the past week and haven't actually spoken to a doctor.
