Aedis Building Regulatory Services

Aedis have swindled a stack of people out of their money and left them high and dry. I'd rate them 0* if I could. They failed to secure insurance and so had to to cease inspections immediately - notified me by email and have an address to apply to for a refund. No response to emails. No response to phonecalls. Local Authority informs me someone even went to speak to them at their office and they spoke to them through the intercom, rather than having the courtesy to face them. Absolute shambles. Hope they go bust and the conmen behind the company are jailed.

Looks like they have gone bust. taking everyone's money with them. they were a viable business and could have done the decent thing - but they decided to steal everyone's money instead.Lets hope they get what they deserve

Aedis is an absolute joke, even though they are going under, their website is still offering ‘indicative’ quotes. Even before they were in trouble, the office staff were anything but professional. They have taken a lot of people’s money, but have still not refunded, apparently they have went from over 120 staff to under 8 in a short space of time. A lot of their customers were complaining on their Facebook page, so Aedis have closed their Facebook account. I feel sorry for all the people involved in projects who have had delays or had to pay other warranty providers for their inspections and certificates.

An architect I used applied to Aedis on my behalf. Given the chance I would have looked around first... Expensive (and very quick and persistent at getting money from you up front), especially for the experience I had with them.I never saw them come to site, they told the builders just to take pictures of everything and they never responded to emails or phone calls. I've paid for a service (and still waiting for a final inspection despite trying to arrange for 2 weeks), I don't think I'm getting good value for money.

An absolutely awful company, do not make the mistake of using them. They avoid phone calls and emails and have managed to turn the simple process of building control into an absolute nightmare.

save your money - have lost mine as ignore me

Never use this company... Never respond to calls, emails and now failing to complete on our project. Avoid !!
