Wonderful experience! Extremely professional, expert, safe and expert trial lesson from Scott which made for an unforgettable birthday treat for our son. Really makes us feel we’d like to take up flying. On our doorstep too! Many thanks.

Recently finished my instructor rating with these lovely chaps. A fantastic experience and although hard work, great fun!I’m someone who has completed his training in one of the “Elite training” schools and can say without any doubt the instruction Peter gave me was above and beyond what I got in the bigger schools – The man has a natural ability to impart knowledge like no instructor I’ve ever had!I’ve left a better and more conscientious pilot than when I started – and that’s not even the aim of the course!!Also, the people at the club and the environment they have created is fantastic – it’s a fun place to be.If the goal is selfies is glass cockpit aircraft then this probably isn’t the place, but if the goal is to receive good training to become a safe and skilled pilot, I highly recommend Southend Flying club!

Wife booked this for my 30 birthday present turned up and was told it had been cancelled and should have called up in the morning to check. Member of staff admitted it was his mistake for not including the paper work stating as such. Manager had anger issues and reduced my wife to tears and proceeded to belittle her.I would seriously think twice about getting into any vehicle with anger issues as bad as his let alone a plane! Do yourselves a favour and book though the company next door seawingfc. Better pricing and much better customer service! Shouting and swearing at a female with a toddler is not acceptable and I hope you don't treat other customers the same. Would leave 0 star if I could!

My ambition to be a fully licensed pilot is becoming ever closer to being a reality.This has only been achieved by the excellent tuition received from the experienced instructors at the club. Highly recommend the flying club if anyone is considering pursuing pleasure flying and gaining a private pilots license.

Lovely little training center. Had a fanastic flying experience. Staff were very passionate about flying and we learn heaps. Excellent as a gift.

Best choice I ever made was choosing to learn to fly here, the instructors are very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend it!

Such a fantastic experience for my first time flying. I got a voucher for a 30 minute flying lesson as a gift. We loved every minute of it and appreciate how informative and helpful our pilot was. Paul explained everything clearly and made it a fabulous experience. I would definitely recommend it if you fancy trying something different or are looking for a great gift for someone.

I really enjoyed my flight, the instructor was friendly and knowledgeable. Would recommend to friends and family
