Scottish Clay Shooting Centre

I went with my husband to surprise him for our anniversary with an Introductory lesson to clay shooting for the two of us. It was our first time doing this and we completely loved it! Staff was super nice and friendly and our instructor Jim Thomson was fabulous. 10/10 experience!

LOVED IT!Completely impromptu trip to Scottish Clay Shooting Centre, we were just passing by and needed food but saw the signpost. We were so glad we stopped by.It's something I've always fancied trying but never got round to. I'm so glad my first experience was with SCSC. We had the best experience more than we could imagine. I thought we were going to experience a stuffy and strict environment but it was nothing like i imagined, we had so much fun! The Scottish Clay Shooting Centre is so very professional and safety is definitely first on their agenda. Our instructor was the best, so informative yet so much humour and fun. You just can't beat a bit of Scottish banter.Absolutely loved our clay pigeon shooting experience with SCSC

Charlie & Michelle were an absolutely lovely team, so welcoming and friendly. We definitely will be back for archery round 2Charlies teaching method was relaxed and incredibly effective. I never expected to hit the target, but he had me on point in the centre several times. Amazing teacher

First time visiting this shooting grounds. Jim and Michelle were absolutely lovely. Gave us a tour of the grounds and some tips and made us feel very welcomed. Plenty of variety on the clays and a skeet shooting setup for those looking for something more competitive. Great day out will be back for sure!

Great day out with our teenagers, brilliant and highly knowledgable instructor and lots of fun! Definitely worth a visit and a lovely cafe next door for lunch.

First time visiting this shooting ground. Jim and Michelle were absolutely great. Made is feel very welcome and valued customers. Jim gave us a tour of the grounds and some tips. Good variety of targets and well laid out. First time shooting Skeet. Challenging and fun. Great day out well worth a visit.

Our 14yo son had a fantastic morning clay pigeon shooting. From the friendly welcome and local knowledge from Michelle (and the Bakewell tart!) to Hugh's expert advice whilst teaching. After a few pointers he managed to hit around 5 clays so was super pleased with himself. Thanks for a great session both, it was the highlight of Owen's holiday!

Visited today with my partner for a couple's clay pigeon shooting experience. We met Neil at the lodge and he was lovely from the off. He's very experienced, patient and has an intuitive style of teaching. He was funny too which was a bonus. We tried several different stands and the views were incredible. Afterwards we stayed for a while to chat and visit the shop next door. The setting's just beautiful. We'll both be back with friends next fine! Thanks for an awesome day...

A great day out firing at clays. Great instructors for the novices and different type of shooting scenarios, catastrophes across, away, towards and along the ground, which was the most difficult to hit. Safety taken very seriously. Very enjoyable.
