don't ask me how, but I managed to break two keys to an antique wardrobe, which in turn nearly broke my relationship.I went to Timpsons but the guy said it's impossible to get them broken keys copied as he wouldn't be able to fit them in the vice (he never tried). He then recommended hiring a locksmith to change wardrobe's locks all together.I walked pass this wee shop and decided to ask for a second opinion. The gent behind the counter with a can-do attitude, gave it a bash and guess what - he copied both keys, saved the wardrobe and my relationship.So thank you Sir! More people like this please.

Bryan came out and fixed our lock reasonably promptly.However, when we tried to get a key cut it proved impossible to get one that worked (different cutters used). We called out another locksmith who advised that the lock was of very poor quality which goes someway to explaining the key cut issue. We got another lock fitted, this time a Union Lock with steel pins to prevent saw through. This locksmith was cheaper as well. I suggest you don't use. Gave 2 stars because he did come out reasonably promptly. I note other reviewers have commented on the lock quality.

Unreliable and untrustworthy. Came and fitted a lock which broke within one month. Avoided calls to come out and fix under warranty. I got a friend to call him (which he answered) to get the repair, but he stood me up. Time and over £200 wasted.

Excellent customer service, since problem was very simple, he didn't charge us for the callout! Very helpful before callout as well, giving useful advice to try before a determining a visit was necessary

Bryan was great! He came out with a replacement for my broken 114 year old internal lock but when he took the old one out, he found was able to fix it. He didn’t charge me a thing, even though he had paid for the replacement lock.

Bryan is excellent. I was ripped off by another locksmith. Bryan helped us out, was honest, helpful and we really appreciated it. Brilliant and honest service.

Quick response time, efficient, friendly and professional. Bryan arrived within 30mins and managed to fix my lock. He identified the issue and recommended a sensible solution. Five stars.

After being let down by 2 lockamiths I phoned westend locksmiths after googling for a locksmith in glasgow he came straight away and had a hard job getting me in to my flat due to very solid doors and frames was so relieved to get into my flat he took about an hour to get me in and fixed all the damage done to a very high standard would have no hesitation to recommend Brian he was courteous and friendly into the bargain and only charged what he quoted which was half the price of the 2 that let me down

Terrible experience with Bryan. DO NOT USE! He put a high security lock on my door. I came home to find I couldn’t get in. The lock was of such cheap quality and the key he gave me so poorly cut that it was faulty! I called him - no response. Called another emergency locksmith to come out who had to weld my door open and charged me £100 (drilling a hole through my storm door). Noting it was Easter I gave Bryan the benefit of the doubt that he might be away and would call me when back, after I sent numerous texts to tell him what happened. No response to texts or calls. I thought at least as courtesy he should come and put a new lock on my door (I wasn’t going to ask him to pay me back the £100 I forked our due to his poor workmanship as I liked the guy). When my boyfriend phoned him from a different number some weeks later (after a lot of chasing from my side), he picked up. He said he would come over on Saturday to fix the lock - but he didn’t! No surprise, he is again not answering my messages. Another locksmith I used says he used to work for him and this guy is a joke. Don’t use, it will be more trouble than it’s worth. This guy has zero integrity.

I forgot my keys and was locked out of my flat. Glasgow West End Locks was able to turn up in an hour despite busi-ness, got me in quickly, offered multiple options for payment and was the cheaper of the two places I contacted. Always sucks to be locked out, but they did a great job making it easy to get back in.
