Fantastic coffee, calm and peaceful garden atmosphere, fantastic food and very friendly & warm hospitality. One can feel the love and attention to detail in every touch.Very talented kitchen team, the hard work that goes into what comes out on the plate is admirable.I particularly enjoyed the Aqua fava with the side of flat bread.It is one of the fewer places mainly geared towards mature clientele which makes it very enjoyable.Thank you for your great work and effort!

Fantastic spot to stop for a coffee on a winter walk. Freshly-made sourdough donuts went down a treat - other homemade cakes looked amazing too.

A beautiful autumn day at this lovely place. A glorious trot round the gardens full of Italianate treasures and gifted gardeners prepared to share their knowledge. Then delicious lunch courtesy of very talented Chef Bridden and team. Little details and treats delighted our table. Perfect arancini to whet the appetite, then spanking fresh hake with a well balanced combo of accompaniments, crab and fermented hispi. Nice French Vermentino aka Rolle which we’d never encountered before. Charming, informative and knowledgeable service from Iford’s owner. All in all a grand day out!

Great new purpose built cafe replaced old house kitchen arrangement a few years ago.Delicious food, coffee, nice staff, great location = especially if weather permits use of charming outdoor seating.Often closed so check before arriving!

A friend and I came here for breakfast today, parking was easy as we were quite early. The gardens surrounding the cafe are beautiful and create a relaxing atmosphere. I was surprised that the service was very slow, considering it was definitely not busy. My real disappointment was my breakfast itself!!! My fried egg was an actual crisp with a yellow centre - dreadful. The staff were so apologetic and offered a replacement or an extra ? of our choice. I decided to have a takeaway danish pastry to have with a cuppa this afternoon.Despite this hiccup I would definitely give them a second chance - the cafe staff saved the day - well done ladies.

Having read such glowing reviews of the Restaurant at Iford Manor we went with high expectations but came away very disappointed and hungry. The starter of crab tartlet was delicious however from there the main course of Segreto of pork was dry, tasteless and tough. We both left the majority of the dish. Needless to say we will not be returning any time soon.

I had an impromptu lunch at this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional quality of the food. The burger was one of the best I've ever had - juicy, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully presented. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the location in a lovely courtyard was peaceful and relaxing. I highly recommend this restaurant for a fantastic dining experience.

Fabulous pit-stop during a long cross country journey. Lovely pot of quality tea, tasty coffee & two delicious cakes all in a wonderful setting. Highly recommended.
