Was looking for someone local to repair orangery roof and came across Sky Guard. Dealt with Shamus and from the outset he was very professional and honest about what work was needed. Tbh I can’t fault him as on the day he went above and beyond to help with some other jobs. Can’t recommend him enough !!

Seamus came out to look at the problems I was having with my leaking roof and chimney. He identified the problem and set out a plan of action to remedy the issues. We needed scaffolding which Seamus sorted out for me. The work which was carried out was to a very high standard and at a competitive rate. Seamus is a very polite and honest tradesman and knows everything to do with roofs. I own a large old pub which will need further work in the future. Seamus was incredibly knowledgable from the start to finish of the job. He explained everything in detail and made us aware of exactly what was needed/what he was going to do. He turned up exactly when he said and helped source the required scaffolding. We are really happy with the end product, and will contact Seamus for all of our roofing needs. We were incredibly impressed with how tidy Seamus left our property!!! We are planning to get our roof redone….we won’t need to contact anyone else as we will go straight to Seamus.

Efficient, responsive and quick. Skyguard replaced the entire exterior of my roof (tiles, felt and dry verge/dry ridge) in just three days, plus a couple of extra hours to deal with an aesthetic issue that related to a pre-existing feature of the house. Skyguard also arranged skip and scaffolding to coordinate with the main job without any need for my involvement. Seamus is a good bloke to work with, flexible and takes a great pride in his work.

When we had water pouring through our roof, Seamus came the same day. We had known for some time that there were a number of problems with the roof. Following discussions withSeamus (his knowledge is incredible), we decided to have the roof replaced. He explained exactly what we needed and what he would do. He brought sample tiles from which we chose. Seamus arranged scaffolding, skip and delivery of tiles and these were erected and delivered on the days he specified. He and his workmate Luke turned up promptly on the days and at the times arranged. Within six days our chimney was removed and the roof of our large bungalow replaced and finished to an extremely high standard. Seamus and Luke take a real pride in their work, are honest, pleasant and very industrious. The best recommendation we can give is that we have had numerous villagers who have watched our roof being replaced, commenting how impressed they were with the workmanship and quality of the finished roof, so much so that a number have requested Seamus’ details.
