If you’re looking to move into any omnia managed property rented- don’t bother. Apartments are gorgeous but after living in one for a year they are the typical new build, everything falls apart and it’s extremely hard to keep the place warm with the draft coming though every window and door. You can’t go to the the things you would normally do renting. My own experience e.g- watching top boy on my tv in my living room, a sex scene came on, someone was looking into my apartment from the offices on the other side and reported me for what I was watching. I was asked my estate agents to close my blinds as I was distracting the office block. Noise complaints were put on my record when it was actually my neighbour who had party’s. My neighbour told the agents it was herself and not me however they refused to take it off my file so it was extremely difficult to find a new property to rent as my reference was based on lies. For the first 8 month living here we were not allowed to use balcony’s as they were not deemed safe but still had to pay full rent every month. My 2 bikes were stolen from the room that was supposed to be safe (they were also locked up). When I moved out my whole deposit was taken and I was charged £400 to repaint the apartment due to wear and tear which is bound to happen when they’re built from the cheapest of materials. The floor boards literally come up when hoovering and my ‘brand new’ radiators all stopped working within a week of living here
