The Lancaster Hospital

The experience was excellent.. i was very nervous about having an operation but all the staff were excellent and made me feel relaxed very quickly.The operation went really well and i am really pleased i had it done at the Lancaster Hospital.The staff made me feel relaxed from the start and staff members came to see me as they were finishing their shifts to see how i was doing including the main consultant which made me feel like they really cared about me.It was a 10 out of 10 experience and if you have the choice to use the Lancaster Hospital use it.Many ThanksThomas

I attended the hospital in February 2021 and received excellent help whilst I was there. So when I recently needed and Arthroscopy on my left knee I requested that I could return there for my treatment. The hospital is excellent and the care given is great. I prefer going there than anywhere else because I know how caring all of the staff are, from Specialists to porters they are all so caring. Many thanks for all of your help.

All the staff (and Mr Radcliffe) were lovely. They each took time to talk through the procedure, were ready to listen and answer my questions. Michaela was always on hand to check on me, and get me a drink. I cannot thank them all enough; I was even reluctant to be discharged! Your attention and professional care were second to none. Thank you so much.

Everything was above and beyond my expectations. Three nurses stand out as exceptional in a fabulous team. Sister Louisa Nurse Mandy and the Sister on duty on 7/10/23. A daily visit by the consultant, who only worked hat the hospital one day each week was unexpected but greatly appreciated. He obviously had to travel elsewhere to begin his daily toil.

The care I received was excellent from start to finish. All the staff were friendly and approachable and I felt they understood my needs. They treated me with kindness, dignity and respect and I felt confident that they were knowledgeable and competent, always ready to help. I was also aware that they worked together very well as a team, which resulted in a pleasant atmosphere on the ward. The receptionists, porter, catering staff, physio and pharmacy staff were equally helpful and competent and I’m aware that there must be very good domestic staff and supervisory management staff in the background all contributing to the excellent care I received.

I’ve been to Lancaster before, and I had the exact same care as last time 5Star….I can’t fault all of the staff, as there motivation, professionalism and knowledge of the job in hand is second to none. I only found the reception desk a little cold, on greeting you, they just seamed a little “what do you want”! Sorry but front of house! Should be the first meet and greet with a smile at least….

I have just received treatment at the Lancaster hospital. I cannot fault any part of the process, from beginning to end. All members of the team were fantastic in their roles, from pre assessment to discharge. Highly recommended.

Professional care and comfort at all times, and such cheerful staff!It was shame that I had to wait seven hours for my surgery but understand that the pressure of work was unavoidable but staff kept me regularly updated. Thanks to everybody.

I had a very good experience with The Lancaster Hospital. I was shown to my private room promptly upon arrival, all individuals involved in my operation came to visit me before it took place, and the procedure + aftercare has been exemplary. I would like to extend my gratitude to the hospital for making everything as smooth as possible.

I was extremely happy with my recent experience at the Lancaster Hospital. I felt informed and very safe following my hip replacement surgery. All the staff in every discipline were attentive, courteous and competent. I was kept fully informed about my treatment and stay at all times.
