Wenzel`s the Bakers

Sorted my platters out with 48 hours notice. Food was excellent and all eaten - service from female manager (sorry, didnt take name but think it starts with V) was outstanding. Clean, tidy, tasy!

I bought a baguette today in Wenzel bakery Chingford mount branch and I was expecting it to be quite fresh in this shop but I’m sure it was baked at least one or two days ago as it was extremely hard and I believe it shouldn’t be on display at all.Very disappointed with this experience

Not happy with the Chingford SHOP. I walked into the shop and wanted to place a BIG order. The bread is expose so everyone can touch it and feel it with hands. I saw a lady feel the bread with a hands and she changed her mind and put it back. the shop workers dont wear gloves. Therefore, when you order bread and the worker is feeling your bread with unwashed hands. that is not good. keep in mind these are the same hands taking dirty money. I was soo upset because the food is really nice. To wenzel bosses can you ensure the public customers cant feel and touch the bread. people are feeling them and not buying them. Keep in mind we are in covid - 19 times. Please can the staff wear gloves and change does like subway. its not fair your looking forward to this lovely bread and the woman takes money i front of you then uses the same hands to get your bread. please make this change. i want to come back and buy again

Whoever has given the low reviews is straight up lying, me and my lover enjoyed every bite while watching drag race. Best food we’ve ever eaten. Slay boots

Ordered platters they were amazing million times better than other places including costco. The bread was so soft and fresh and the fillings were extra fresh and tasty and definitly well filled. I will be back to try other menu items. Thank you very much !!!!

We placed a deliveroo order they messed our order forgetting to put items in. I rang straight away and asked them. The Manager Bill asked to get refund and reorder and gave us some lame excuse that items where in the bag. The bag was sealed so they forgot. I am a regular and local to the area. They really need to work on customer service and triple check orders as my 5 year old waiting for ages for her pizza. Absolutely disgusting

Imagine sitting in traffic to grab lunch. Only to enter the store, be looked at then ignored while she decided to look for a roll" then shouts for her colleague to assist her looking for said roll. She then ignored me completely proceeding to serve the man who came in after me. Awful service

At 8:30 am, I have bought a bacon roll, definitely bacon was cooked the day before as it was freezing cold, disgusting taste, how can you feed humans with food like that, disgraceful !!!The slice of loaf I bought it was soaking in grease or oil, horrible experience, Wenzels never again, stay away !

If I could leave 0 stars I would! Paid £6.99 through Just Eat for a Southern Chicken Baguette Meal Deal & this is what the filling was. I’m disappointed because I was hungry & looking forward to the baguette. I’m angry because I feel I have been ripped off for £6.99. I feel taken advantage of because they knew it was being delivered & not seen by me had I ordered the meal in store. I won’t be making that mistake again. Be cautious when ordering from the West Ealing branch through Just Eat.

Very tasty food but always out of Pretzels by 10 - 11 am. This is irritating as I am a big pretzel enthusiast and Pretzels are hard to come by in the UK. I would recommend management invests in more pretzels, you will most definitely be guaranteed sales. You can't have a Wenzels without Pretzels.
