As a cyclist, all I can say is that First UK Bus *MUST NOT* train their drivers to be considerate to us. They frequently pass too closely and too fast. This is intimidating and dangerous driving. When will First UK Bus drivers recognise that cyclists are vulnerable road users that need extra space?

Used to enjoy traveling by first now you take your chance to travel and if you have to be somewhere at a certain time your best bet is to drive or leave really early.I often get buses that just don't arrive or are really late I even had the x39 from bath bus station 3 Wednesday's in a row start up as x39 only to then realise the driver got the wrong bus and has to get everyone off and change to 38 once we had it happen next stop from bus station when the driver realised and got everyone off to get the next bus and the other 2 times we was still in bus station but already got on.I do feel we need other bus companies to create compatition and make them improve there services as currently it seems like they can do as they please with no worry about loosing routes to other companies. There was only once I didn't mind the driver being late and that was recently when a G4S cash in transit vehicle pulls up outside the bus station and I could wait around and watch as they accidentally set off the smoke screen which I found very funny.

Ridiculous changes service provided for students. U1 service was cut short by road works with no replacement. Eliminated Bristol services for regular student pass and increased prices by £50. Simply unacceptable. Not to forget about the always completely full busses in the mornings and peak time. This company just cares about money not realising they are inconveniencing the day of all regular users.

Diabolical company. Frequently the expected services just don't turn up, with no information provided to passengers. There is no accountability either. It's a lottery pick if your driver is jolly and welcoming or a grumpy jobsworth.

Today I experienced the humiliation of being refused service because I tried to pay for my ticket with a £5 note. Yes - a paying, long-time customer with money in their hands was made to feel like a troublemaker, and was made to explain themselves. We now live in a country in which any person trying to pay with their hard-earned money might be turned away from using public transport, with no viable payment options offered should they be opposed to cashless for practical or ethical reasons. I did not agree to this, nor did I ever vote for it.Given that Bristol is now actively penalising motorists with the clean air zone fines, this decision to make life hard for public transport users is very ill-conceived indeed. I will not be giving my money to First Bus again until they choose to recognise cash as the legal tender that it is.#BoycottCashless

Buses servicing Bath and the local surrounds as well as some coach lines service this station. Clean and tidy. Seating inside and out. Help desk and departures board.

If the case of the Civic Transportation Organisation in my old city of residence (SKG) is to teach us anything, it is that a monopoly on transport in any given metropolitan area inevitably spells trouble on the horizon.Although I shall conscientiously refrain from granting First a one-star rating, as the buses are good, fast, comfortable, not too noisy, and usually clean; that does not excuse the three main factors which have brought about my dissatisfaction:1) The ticketing app, which we are supposed to download in order to make our lives easier and cheaper, is more likely to crash than not, which means that you might get into trouble if there is a queue behind you and you are unlucky enough to have the app crash at that moment.2) The air-conditioning during the summer is a complete joke. Whether I would sit upstairs or downstairs on the bus, I would be boiling. It actually made me wonder whether there was any AC system installed in the vehicles in the first place.3) Now the real problem; when you go to a stop to catch your bus, you had better abandon all hope" (as per Dante) and presuppose that your service WILL be significantly late

First is a an embarrassment, a source of stress and anger. It is not an entity that has a net a positive impact to the public that uses it. First should be destroyed, burnt, vanished, and forgotten. message me if you want to organise a protest against this bad bad ‘company’. First Management go to prison!

The bus station is very dirty and even though is cleaned, not much difference is made. There are too many homeless people either asking you for money or sat around on the floor and benches. And if you are stood outside waiting for a bus be prepared to also be smacked in the face by a smokers smoke or people barging past!

I’ve been impressed by the level of service and dedication that First West of England have offered during the pandemic.I had previously rated them 1 star, due to the consistently poor levels of service that I had previously experienced from them on the U1 route in Bath, but my recent experiences have been MUCH better.Goes to show that companies CAN improve and people can therefore change their opinions, as a result. Thank you for turning me from a detractor into a promoter.
