Ardingly Reservoir Walking Trail
Lots of parking with well kept paths. Reasonably low gradients on the walks, apart from the car park to the reservoir itself which is moderately steep. There is also an activity centre on site for water sports including Kayaking, Paddleboarding etc. A few good spots for picnics and fairly easy to socially distance as required at the moment.

Ardingly Reservoir Walking Trail
Amazing, well maintained walking trail more than 2.5 miles on one side. It had mentioned no cycling, but few were there with cycles. Apart from few muddy patches, the path was very nice. There are few spots where you can do bit of a climb and watch the reservoir from above hill. Must visit place if you are in the area!

Ardingly Reservoir Walking Trail
If you’re walking (rather than indulging in watersports) the appeal is limited to a decent walk around some of the reservoir. Nothing wrong with it on a nice day but it’s essentially just a pleasant walk. Kingfishers are apparently in the vicinity but our wildlife observations were limited to half a dozen pasty swimmers (swimming isn’t allowed by the way, those renegades!). Visit once.

Great place for a family walk. Great views. Lots of fishing and rowing going on on the reservoir and last time there was a coffee van in the car park. Although this time of year can get extremely muddy, so bring your wellies, change of shoes and a seat cover for your dogs..

Ardingly Reservoir Walking Trail
We loved it here. Great outdoor walking, canoeing and boating.The food at the kiosk was not very nice. Will bring our own the next time. But overall a great place for all ages and dog walkers.

Ardingly Reservoir Walking Trail
We came in at the top end of the reservoir, great place to have a stroll and take in the nature around you. Great for dog walking, though at this end there are DOG WASTE Bins. Desposable bbq are not allowed! There are rubbish/recycle bins, benches to sit and gaze over the vast expanse of water, where you will see various types of birds and insects. If you have mobility issues this may not be suitable as there is a slow hill to walk back to the car. My 2 dogs loved it here and enjoyed off lead time.

Ardingly Reservoir Walking Trail
A beautiful walk round the reservoir. A well upkept path will guide you around the reservoir with information points along the way. Multiple areas to sit and relax with benches too.
