Good auction house with many interesting items in their general sales. Parking is limited and there are steps into the building that can make delivery and collection more challenging

They maybe good at selling enamel signs, but anything else I would avoid it.Being messed about for nearly a month over some lots I have won and they will not return calls to sort the matter out to my satisfaction (event though they promise to do it).I'll never use this auction house again and I suggest anyone going to use it, proceed with caution.

My expiriance not nice . Items were put up high ,or tideup ets so were not able to see condition.Long time go i bid for 6 chers seksessible .When cem to pay and take awey i was told i can have them.selers chenge they they mind . So I stop going , i lost lots of money on crap .(my folt )Charges are to high items menly broken and pure qulaty .Regards j.

My first visit here last week (I'm a trade buyer). What an excellent traditional little auction house, staff very helpful, patient and polite. Excellent experience.

I have only had fantastic experiences of this auction house and we have bought products from 2 other local houses. The staff at Chippenham Auction Rooms are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. All items we have bought have been honored and in great condition. If there are items in places that are out of reach (very few), the staff are more than happy to bring them down for inspection. Overall, i have never been disappointed in any items.

Second time we have used them. Very friendly and helpful people to deal with. Covid secure too.

Had some items to sell. All very enthusiastic and gushing regarding the items. Should do very well etc etc, all the comments which felt as if the items I was selling would attract good prices. Estimates made. I asked if I should put a reserve at the lower estimate value. No was the answer as they felt confident the items would achieve a good price.Had this just been a general auction I may have expected some loss, however, all I can say is I was extremely disappointed at the result of the auction considering this was meant to be a specialist auction, attracting the right buyers".The majority of my items achieved less then the lower estimate and Ifeel

Combine auction lots without telling me. Sent an invoice for both lots, incurring higher postal charges, from their shippers. Wouldn't even help by sticking it in a box, for me to arrange collection.Paid the invoice, told them to bin it, just to avoid hassle.
