Lovely restaurant and bar in St Albans Town centerThe restaurant has a modern, warm and pleasant ambience. Service was friendly and laid-back. The restaurant serves tapas style menu with plenty of choices including a huge vegetarian selection. You are recommended 3 to 4 tapas plates per person. It also has a few mains including fish, burgers sides, a good selection of desserts and a brunch menu as well.It can be very busy on Friday and Saturday evenings . The sea bream with new potatoes and the lemon posset was especially nice.Would recommend.

I came to this restaurant in the afternoon for coffee and dessert. I found the dessert here very delicious, I enjoy the dessert and the atmosphere is comfortable, the coffee is good. However, for the hot chocolate, It was so diluted that it felt negative. But I'll be back for good coffee and dessert.

We held our Works Christmas Celebration at the Albans Well. Cat and the team couldn’t do more for us. The food, service and atmosphere made for an amazing evening. We had our own space, it was agreed that we were able to bring in some entertainment for the evening (Casino Tables) and we had really fun evening. All made possible by the team. Would highly recommend if you are wanting to organise and host a large group of people.

They were particularly busy, as a result the service was slow. The waitress came over to us multiple times to apologise for the delay which was appreciated. I can look past this as the feel of the place is a comfortable area to be inFood, whilst delicious, was not completely worth the money.In our case we were unhappy with the steak.The item cost £27 and only came with a single sad looking mushroom, tomato and chips. Steak however was cooked very well but it would have been nice to have more veg or veg on menu as a side.This was a completely different experience to what we had last year which had efficient catering and a thoughtfully put together menu, that was quite simply delectable. This experience is what attracted us to come back again,Appreciate that the menus will change from time to time however this change was noticeably negative.Overall the place is warm and comfortable, staff are friendly and attentive. I feel that they're letting themselves down with the menu and what they deliver.Will come back again in the next season and see what's new.

Had our company Christmas party here. Food was absolutely amazing. Staff and service was brilliant. Can't fault at all. Would highly recommend.

I’m not from st Albans but when I’ve been there I have eaten here twice. The food is absolutely delicious and the staff are so friendly and the service is excellent. I love the wine wall feature. Great atmosphere and ambience and dogs are allowed in

I went here for drinks with a friend and the cocktails were great. Ro was our server at the bar and he was excellent. He recommended the best drinks after listening to the flavours we usually enjoy. He was very friendly and attentive. His pleasant and polite manner, as well as, his good conversation added a warm vibe to the lovely ambiance the place already had. I would definitely come here again with more friends and for food. The drinks were good and the customer service from the staff is brilliant too! :)

Had a wonderful evening (30.05.22). Food was delicious. Service was excellent and special mention must go to Charlie who we found delightful and was so knowledgeable about the menu. Also the chefs did incredibly well with all our dietary needs. Well worth a visit.

Have been in a few times over the last couple of weeks.Then we came with my partner and her 2 friends for a meal today as we've heard great things recently.Firstly inside wow its honestly beautiful and very welcoming. The staff were lovely when greeted and to be fair through-out the whole evening. Food was honestly outstanding, cocktails as well amazing and very well balanced.
