We recently used Taylor Rose Hove for our house purchase. The initial discussions around quotes and process was extremely clear and the team were very helpful and prompt in all responses. Throughout the conveyancing process our solicitor Zafrin was thorough and the assistant Abby was always speedy and clear with coming back on questions. The buying process was slightly more complicated than usual as we had to renew the lease midway through the process but this didn't cause undue delays and we were able to complete in a timely manor. Overall a great experience and would recommend.

Worth the extra money in my opinion and will be using them again! Good response rate and Liz goes the extra mile to keep you informed via phone.

Taylor Rose in Hove is acting for our vendor in a property transaction. In a written communication to our solicitors this firm stated that my wife and I had forced their client to become homeless in order to accelerate exchange of contracts. Firstly, this is untrue. Secondly, we have no interaction with this firm and for them to state in writing that we forced their client defames our character. We have written to their client care team and will also be taking this through the legal ombudsman. The purpose of leaving this review is to let prospective clients or counterparties know that unless you are happy to be characterised and written about in such a way then you may wish to review your legal firm choice.UPDATE 180823 - I am updating this review having heard from the firm who suggested I contact their client care team. The update is that we had already done this to be told that becuase we weren't the firms client they were unable to deal with the complaint directly. The issue therefore remains that representatives of the firm are able to make character allegations with impunity about people who they do not know, have never met, who are involved in their transaction, but who aren't their client.

We’ve all heard the stories about how terrible property transactions can be, and solicitors are normally one of the big frustrations.
