There a cheery bunch They have lovely stuff there steak pies, chicken pie,s are great and there made up packs you buy three for a certain amount and they are a chatty now that the new people have taken over they spend the time of day with you so it makes a difference. There display of goods in there refrigerated counter is vast really nice quality so will go back time after time .

An absolute disgrace . £6.59 for a steak pie for 2 !This shop has gone right downhill since it was sold . A friend went in to get boiled ham at 4:10pm and they would not serve it as they had cleaned the slicing machine.

Have shopped in this butchers for many years. It was a great butchers. However, I can't say that now. I bought sausages and red pudding on 2 separate occasions which were horrible both times - the texture for both was mush. I couldn't eat them and had to bin them. Your prices have taken a massive jump too. I won't be back unless you change your recipes or suppliers. Very disappointing.

Had a steak pie from here last night and it was absolutely delicious and fresh, would highly recommend. Such lovely people to!

Love their Aberdeen angus burgers and Stornoway bombs. They have a good variety to choose from and some good deals so definitely worth a visit either to the shop or on their website.

Yesterday afternoon I bought here 0.5 kg of ox tails (on the pic), 0.5 kg smoked ribs and two lamb pies. That was my first time in this shop as normally I’m using butcher at Stockbridge.Today I try to eat one pie for the breakfast and is was absolutely disappointing. After first bite everything end up in the bin. The weird stuffing was just awful.Today after work (around 17:00) I go to my fridge to take it out and cook ox tails and they were incredible smelly (like roten meat) in some places even slightly green and sticky. Everything after one night in the fridge! I binned that straightaway.The smoked ribs were fine.I’m not recommending that place as I lost my trust there. I will never comeback and I would never recommend that to anyone of my friends. I’m absolutely disgusted!!!I was trying to call the shop but I noticed that they are open only till 17:00. bought a good quality boneless pork belly and it went well with Korean recipe. (500g costed around £4)

Great customer service.. friendly and helpful staff.. the butcher knows his stuff..I ordered beef short ribs and a tomahawk steak... Loads of meat on both... Thanks for your help and advice on cooking them..
