Developing Your Potential

Took the course for a short while and I had to cancel it because I couldn't commit, had a little trouble getting a refund however it's all been resolved now,Please be aware that if you are going on this course it DOES NOT qualify you for teaching assistant, it provides information on what route to take to become one, so when people say its a con, it's only a con if people assume it's going to get you job. Also when I mentioned about trouble getting the refund I meant about the 14 day refund policy that the company has, I was past this 14 day period, therefore it took a lot of work to get it back, but under certain circumstances I was awarded the refund.

Very disappointed. The first call I had I felt so positive I would have some luck with this agency in finding a job. But towards the end I felt very pressured to give them an answer of yes or no it was a battle to ask if I can get back to them the next day. They have people who are motivating and can mislead you. They got me to pay for the course told me that is all I need to do to match criteria for the schools they work with. I finished the course and paid the full fee to them get an email to say I don’t not have the relevant experience so they won’t be able to find something and I should find myself some work experience. I feel I was misled yes fine they say it is not guaranteed to find a place but if they knew from the outset I didn’t have relevant experiences instead of taking my money they should have told me to get the experience and then come back to them. And in duration of the course I had contact at all even though they said once I am half way through they will get me interview.Very upset and disappointed, told my friends not to bother as well

VERY INCONSIDERATE. Not even worth one star rating. Their main aim is to sell the service to you ; not support you as individuals.. I agreed to enrol on the course, then wanted to cancel as I had different plans but they didn't make it clear that if I got the modules sent to me, I couldn't get a full refund.. Also, did my research and the course they're offering does not qualify you as a teaching assistant: it's a useless course. The manager is mouthy via emails. Lost out on my money but never using this service again. Do your research beforehand.Following the statement above. They didn't give me a refund of 70£ which they said they'll.. they just want your money!

I have been extremely pleased with the support that I have received from Developing Your Potential throughout my time as candidate on their books.Their hands-on and personal approach was a genuine breath of fresh air. My consultant kept me in the loop with every development and he always had time for a chat whenever I called.I have recommended your agency to several of my friends, and I would have no hesitation in using you again.

I enjoyed the course because of the interactive element and also how the course was structured. It was clear even before starting the course what the content would be each week and how to submit the assignments. My tutor was knowledgeable and encouraged questions and group discussions which were interesting and enabled the topic in question to be covered in more depth. The presentation slides were clear and concise enabling my tutor to explain each point with further examples.I have been trying for four years to become a teaching assistant (or a similar role) and for the first time I am confident that Developing Your Potential can help based on the course and the prior conversations I have had with a consultant, whereas other agencies have failed to deliver on any level from my experience.

All 5 star reviews are fake here. This company is fake education establishment that preys on vulnerable people trying to seek work, the courses have no value and worthless. Once you part with your money you will receive emails pertaining to be some kind of course but in fact nothing but a scam.Staff are trained to intimidate and be forceful in their sales tactics then will resist any attempts to claim a refund . Avoid like the plague.

Overall I felt that I learnt a lot of information on many key features such as lesson planning, safeguarding and child protection. I felt that my tutor was thorough in each lesson and gave the class plenty of chances to ask questions. I also felt that my tutor was very enthusiastic within each lesson and imparted their personal experiences with the class. I feel that I am more aware of the different elements within teaching and the course has opened my eyes to how much is involved. The course has most certainly allowed me to put all of this into perspective and helped me to achieve a greater understanding. I feel that I will take all this information and use it in the future when working alongside students.

This is a scam -`This company came up whilst I was researching a job as a teaching assistant-Initial call was very helpful way back in April-They persuaded me to part with £295 to start an online course so that I could state on an application formI am working towards a Teaching assistant course "-I have heard absolutely nothing at all since then-They stated that they worked closely with schools in my area and that they were very much looking forward to working with me...Then nothing-Ive now waited 7 months before posting this review and have e-mailed the company directly with my name and details of this review..standby for their standard response....Do some research on Google and you will see others who have had problems

Don't fall for this company as they just scam your money for nothing. They contacted me through job hunting website and suggested me to take an online Teaching Assistant training course and said I will get refund if I found it not the course I was after. I just opened the file they sent me that lead me fail to get refund. I contacted them for refund. They said NO because I opened the file. That's means I used their course already. That's why I wasted £150 for nothing.

These guys will contact you for a so called interview just to put you on their course. Please do your research as some things will come up if you do so that may make you reconsider. The ASA website in particular.They also got very hostile when I mentioned I couldn't afford it - oh I've spent more on a night out with friends (...)" and pressuring me to sign up.
