Fisherfield Childcare - Gables Nursery

My daughter has been going to this nursery for over a year now and I've never once had any concerns. It was quite hard starting nursery when covid made many restrictions within care settings however just the warm greeting at the door to both me and my daughter put me at ease. The team of ladies at fisherfield are all very professional, caring, polite and friendly which made it very easy to trust them and know my daughter is in good hands. I'm so proud of how well she's developing in all areas since going to this nursery. They regularly make your child a focus child of the week, finding out their current interests, finding out about routines at home and family life so they can incorporate this at nursery. They set you challenges each week at home and you can send them pictures of you accomplishing these so they can print them off and discuss it with the children. I feel very comfortable talking to each member of the gables if I have any queries. I've recently been to a mindfulness class with other parents here at the nursery (away from the kids) and thought it was lovely that they was giving something back to the parents. I've never been so proud seeing my daughter sign language to the family and everyone be so surprised at where she's learnt it. I can't sing your praises enough.I just want to say thank you to each one of you here at fisherfield. Keep up the hard work I appreciate everything that you do. Your all very special & should be proud of yourselves.

Our twin girls have been attending since March and they LOVE going to nursery! The staff are lovely and friendly. They do activities and dressing up days regularly. They also regularly update Parent Zone with comments and photos so you can see what they've been getting up. This is the third nursery the girls have attended, and it's by far the best nursery.

My daughter has been attending The Gables for almost a year. She has settled in really well and I am very happy with the care she receives. All the staff are friendly and approachable, she is comfortable with them and they have a good understanding about her routines, likes/ dislikes. I receive daily updates and photographs about her day and parents are encouraged to share photos and updates. I like that they create activities and play ideas in nursery that relate to her recent interests. I also like that they involve parents and invite you into nursery for play sessions. They encourage and support development through interesting play ideas and this has supported my daughter’s development and confidence. She will be moving into the farmers room soon and they have supported her to make this a fun, enjoyable transition. She is very happy at the gables and we as parents couldn’t ask for anything more.

My daughter started at The Gables in July 2020 and I was initially really worried about how she would settle, given the various lockdowns in the months prior.The staff were amazing and went above and beyond to settle her into nursery life.Fast forward to present, she doesn’t even look back in a morning she’s so eager to get through the door to see the ladies, her friends and have lots of fun!The staff regularly update you with pictures of the day’s activities, and development updates which is great to see.A lovely nursery with great staff - I would definitely recommend!

My Child left yesterday after just over 3 years what an amazing place this is, he was always happy and occupied. The staff were amazing and could not fault them one bit. Polite, professional accommodating are just a small selection of words to describe them. Think Elliott will miss this place (and jess his favourite)Thank you so much for everything you have done for our son.

I cannot recommend the Gables enough! My son has settled In so well and is happy there . The staff absolutely go above and beyond and you can tell they really care about each and every child ! Thank you to you all!

The care and concern that this Fisherfield nursery have shown and continue to show for me and family and children during Covid is admirable. The staff have continued to provide children with amazing and quality teaching and experiences through this awful pandemic and have been a pillar of strength in our communityThank-you to our amazing key-workers - we appreciate everything that you do !

Fisherfield Farm - The Gables is the best nursery I could have sent my daughter to. She loves going! They have always been so supportive to her and us as parents. Every member of staff is amazing. I wouldn’t choose anywhere else :)

My son has been attending Fisherfield (The Gabels) for nearly 2 years. He absolutely loves his days in nursery. The staff are extremely friendly and caring. Hopefully my son will stay here another 2 years, which I an sure he will continue to enjoy. My younger son will also been starting in a couple of months. I feel so confident sending him here, and know he will settle right in and will be in the best of hands, which makes me feel so relaxed and at ease.

Our daughter attends on a full time basis and absolutely loves it here. She can't wait to go, always toddles in with a smile and when we collect her she has always had the same smile on her face. That is the best review you can have, if the level of care and attention wasn't good, she wouldn't enjoy it and wouldn't want to go. Staff are all caring and friendly, working throughout the pandemic under, no doubt challenging circumstances. Thank you x
