Oxford Road Car Park

Good parking for motor homes and free for Blue Badge holders. Have been there several times never had any problems..

DO NOT park here. Vandalism is rife, and there is no CCTV in the car park because the council don't care. A town of chav scum, avoid at all costs.

Car park seems about the right size for a small town though I imagine in summer months it would become too busy to find a space so would go early, the pay system is old, there were 2 machines with a large queue as there is no option for online payment like at many car parks, the machines are also very slow and everyone seem to be very confused about what options to select including ourselves as it's quite complicated to work out! We would of course use again but I think it needs alot of updating and more spaces added if possible in some area's with gaps

By far the worst car park in Britain. Pay machines are slow and complicated, and there are few of them. When was the last time you queued to pay for parking? Well, prepare to do so here! One of the only 2 pay machines that accept card was broken when I came.This is a tourist spot. How many tourists are walking around with change?! What a ridiculous car park

Big, lots of space and probably because the pay machine didn't work. No pay app available, wouldn't take coins, wouldn't accept three of my credit cards, or the people after me....but had a huge clear sign saying machine not working is not an excuse not to pay???Fortunately there is plenty of free parking around the village. Don't bother.

Here for leisure trip in to Wales. Carpark it's self is in a great location, it's only a short walk into the town of Hay-on-Wye and all it offers.There were spaces, but they were filling up fast. I am unsure of other parking availability in the town.The cost at about a £1 an hour seemed reasonable, although I do not know how this compares to the local area. It is a lot more to park where I live.The infernal machines need scrapping, and scrapping fast.There are only two machines in this large carpark, the queues to use the machines soon built up.One of the machines was not taking card payments (we should be grateful that the other one did take card payment, or we would have returned back to base, and the town would have lost our hard earned money).The abominations that are the conduit to pay are over complicated, to many button presses to gain a ticket and heaven forbid you make an error, you'll have to start again.The whole thing needs dragging into the 21st century with the ability to pay via an App. You need more machines, OR just make them free, and be done with it.

BRING CASH. Card payments are slow as and form a queue at all pay points.There is no option for app payments.Other than that, big car park with easy access to the town. Seems a lot of wasted space though, could've got more parking spaces in I'm sure.

Car park with loads of empty spaces but the ridiculous ticket machines meant a queue of over 20 minutes just to pay the £4 charge - no app payment option, convoluted payment including entering your registration number - a nonsense.

Central to everything. Slopping at entrance but relatively flat along the back. No height restriction and campers are free to park overnight from 6pm to 8pm. Keep it clean please. There are plenty of bins.
