High standard CAMHC site but with no toilets and shower block, own facilities essential.A beautiful location and easily accessible just 4 miles from M6 J42 through the village of Cumwhinton.City Centre Carlisle is only 15 minutes by car.The site is ideal as a break point for North and Southbound journeys, or for a longer stay to explore the local area, especially suitable for exploring Hadrian's Wall.Dogs are welcome.

A beautiful site set in woodlandNo facilities, it suits us to use our own.If you want to completely relax this is the site for you.Great dog walking area & walks through the woodland.

What a little gemThe perfect getaway if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing time with a friendly atmosphere and friendly and helpful wardens.Not much on site for younger families with children as their is no play area and no amenities on site so you are totally reliant on your caravan or motorhome for showers and toiletIn my humble opinion it is best suited to the over 50s looking for a quiet rest.If you want to venture out Carlisle is a short journey up the road and Gretna Green and Keswick are easily reachedThis site is one I will be returning to again

Very attractive and well kept site in the beautiful Eden valley, just off the M6. Recommended, but bear in mind there's no shower block.

Lovely wardens who maintain the site in excellent condition. Perfect for dogs with a woodland walk to the lake, a walk around the site and a fairy glen! Be aware that there are no showers or toilets but the price reflects it. A very pretty and well managed site.

Excellent site, well kept, reception staff extremely helpful and friendly. A gem of a site will definitely be back and sure to recommend.

Fabulous site. 5 stars from us. Isobel and Phil couldn't have been more friendlier. Gave our Charlie pup a treat every time we popped in. In fact we extended our stay just to enjoy the fabulous lake and woodland walks and nighttime fairy Glen all lit up! No facilities but not a problem. Beautifully kept and peaceful site. No local shop to walk to, but essentials sold at reception. We shall be back !
