Royal Oldham Hospital - Victoria Centre Breast Care Unit
Had appointment at Breast Clinic today. Really anxious about going but the staff were amazing, explained everything to me re tests etc. Claire who examined me was really easy to talk to, down to earth, put me at my ease.... as did the lady who did the Mammograms. Luckily I was given the all clear but I can imagine these are the kind of staff who really look after those who do have a diagnosis that needs treatment. I can’t thank them all enough. Amazing staff and lovely little unit.

I have been calling the telephone lines for the last 4 hours and so far nobody has answered the phone, it just cuts you off and then I call again. Certainly a difficult line to obtain any response from I will continue to call perhaps I should just turn up instead? thankfully I am working with the phone on call constantly so hopefully they will answer eventually, I would give no stars but the system will not allow you to

Was worried on arrival but the staff are amazing!! Claire has a great sense of humour which helped me cope. I had mammogram and scans and thankfully have nothing to worry about however I think that had things not gone well for me I feel that the staff would have been sympathetic and helpful. Anyone going there , yes, it is worrying trillions of things go through your head but at the end of the day you are going to the right place, they are all experts in their field and are very professional.

For the staff. If you dare to raise concerns about the risks of diagnostics or treatment, or if you ask for any alternatives, you will be intimidated and treated with disrespect, if at all. You have no choices or rights over your own body. They take these rights off you. My previous extensive review was removed, so I'm not wasting my time for an extended explanation again.

Just had an appointment at the Breast Cl inc had a mammogram and scan and all staff where friendly and a professional. Got the result there and then so no worrying for weeks. Excellent service so are so lucky to have such fantastic service in the UK :)

Royal Oldham Hospital - Victoria Centre Breast Care Unit
Had to go to the breast clinic today and was very anxious, but right from the start of my appointment the staff were wonderful, so kind and reassuring.I'm one of the lucky ones and everything was ok, but if things has turned out differently, I know I would have had the wonderful care and support from the amazing staff, this is a fantastic unit, being able to have everything done in one go and getting the results on the same day makes it a lot less stressful.Thank you so much to all the staff especially in such difficult times.
