Enigma Rooms Pontefract

As escape rooms go, this one is one of, if not THE best I have ever played. Escape from Oz surpasses quality, detail, puzzles and technology that I have played before.The story is a perfect mix of what you want and expect, and new stuff, intertwined perfectly.Out host, Andy, really helped set the scene for us, and provided clues (in a fun way) at the perfect time to avoid us getting frustrated.Don’t walk, RUN to Enigma Rooms Pontefract, you will NOT be disappointed.

Words can not describe how good the room was ... we got to the escape room for 7 and we got greeted by a mysterious munchkin. And he whisked us away to a land far away . Once we got in the room I felt like I was not in Pontefract anymore but in a mysterious land full of wizards and small people..... I will continue this review when I escape this land .......

Visited as 2 couples in November 2023.Having done a fair few escape rooms between us in recent years, I was very pleased to see one had opened so locally to us. Booking process over the phone was quick and simple, at the time of writing they offer 10% NHS discount. We all commented that this has been the best escape room we have tried so far, as we felt the challenge was set at the right level, it had lots of different elements and a very well-themed room. I also liked the fact that the host currently writes all participating teams a review of their performance on Instagram! We’re looking forward to trying more escape rooms from this company in the future.

Went last night with a friend and it was fantastic! The theme was done amazingly, and the room itself was a good challenge, so it'll be great even for seasoned escape room players. Definitely give this one a try!

Enigma Pontefract is a step above the rest. Their current Wizard of Oz room is an escape room like no other. Without spoiling a thing, the space has impressive theming that knocks competition out of the water. The budget they must have spent to make this room such a spectacle is unbelievable. Attention to detail was brilliant. The puzzles throughout the space were nothing short of impressive. This escape room gives an extravagantly, whimsical experience that will not leave you disappointed. Enigma should be immensely proud of this room, and so should Pontefract. A real hidden gem amongst the town.

Had a great time! The room was really fun and had lots of elements to figure out, will definitely be visiting again once the next room opens!

Amazing decor and theming, great fun for the whole family and incredibly clean/immaculate throughout the lobby and room. 10/10 recommend to anyone looking for a highly fun escape room experience with great value for money.

Decided to take the challenge of the Oz and WOW! One of the best looking and challenging escape rooms I have been to! The amount of effort that has gone into this room is obvious! Well worth the adventure and challenge.

Great night had by all really enjoyed it will definitely be going to the new one in pontefract when it opens in 6 months.Get your thinking caps on !!!!!!
