We worked with Built Square on several renovation jobs in our house, including new flooring downstairs, a new ceiling on the landing, and installation of new kitchen and bathroom units. Work was to an excellent standard and the communication throughout was prompt and very helpful. All in all a very positive experience. Would highly recommend. Dan & Sophie

Our house is on their website as a complete renovation, so this is not a fake review. We bought a house that had been flipped by Built Square. There have been so many problems that have appeared since moving in. Leaking roof above the bedroom was hidden with a new plaster job and gloss bathroom paint, no solving of actual cause. Same story with rising damp that they tried to hide with a new white wash. Oven not connected to gas, expanding foam fixing much bigger problems, kitchen installed very poorly that washing machine fitters had so many problems. Maybe these guys can do a single room upgrade but DO NOT BUY A HOUSE FROM THEM.

Duncan and the Built Square team were superb, right from quotation stage. We had our downstairs remodelled, opening our kitchen into our lounge/dining area and a new wall established to create a hallway that separated downstairs from upstairs. We also had a small downstairs toilet put in, and a washing machine installed under the stairs.Duncan took his time in his quotation and truly thought about all components of the project. As soon as the project kicked-off, a What's App group was set-up and communication was superb. The team were clean and tidy and always turned up on time.As this was our first time participating in major building work, we were probably quite annoying at times (we asked for the raised floor to be extended after it had been laid!) but the team remained patient and kind.I've had some builders in the past who have spoken to me in a derogatory and/or dismissive manner because I'm a woman, but I never felt that way with the Built Square team. The team spoke respectfully to us and took our opinions into consideration.The work was extremely good value for money and Duncan was a great project manager in arranging all aspects of the project. From electricians to plasterers, it was all sorted without us having to get involved. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Built Square and I would have them back again tomorrow!

The chaps did an excellent job, Darius, George and Lorenzo really care about doing a top notch job on your house and it shows in the care they take over getting things right.I would fully recommend Duncan and his team (not forgetting Miles) to anyone looking to get renovation work done.

I have had an awful experience with Built Square. I recently bought a flat, which is part of a larger building that they bought and converted to flats. Everything that could go wrong with this flat has gone wrong. There are multiple leaks, the boiler immediately broke, the doors don't close, all the fittings are done really sloppily and a hole in the roof felt was fixed with duct tape.Could it be a coincidence that the 5 star reviews were all done at the same time?Addition: I can understand why Built Square would want to claim this review is fake. But I met Duncan from Built Square when I came to the view the flat. After buying our flats, all residents have had much contact with Built Square, as there have been so many problems in the flats that have needed to be fixed.

We are over the moon with our kitchen. We originally got a ‘kitchen review’ with a well known company and they just talked to us about replacing the kitchen in the space we already had. Miles, from Built Square, however really thought about the flow of the kitchen and we’ve ended up with so much more space and a decking balcony! The team, Darius and George, who fitted the kitchen were excellent. So professional, skilled, and really hard working. As well as offering really useful ideas and advice throughout. Thought of everything, lots that we hadn’t! Would highly recommend.

Duncan visited us initially to discuss our requirements. We immediately liked his calm, systematic approach. His team were a pleasure to have around - friendly, respectful, tidy with a great work ethic and attention to detail. It's the best work we've ever had done in our house and we wouldn't hesitate to go back to them.

Built Square did a great job turning an upstairs bedroom into a bathroom. The work was completed to a really high standard, communication with Miles and the team was excellent throughout, and helped put me in touch with electricians and drainage specialists who were all great. Would definitely recommend!

Duncan, Miles and the team were brilliant. They completely transformed our flat in Cotham. They were always accommodating to our ideas and were very professional. Could not recommend them enough, they were great with communication and are very skilled. Thank you to all of the team.
