Dave Taylor - Massage Training

I just completed the Certificate and Diploma Courses in Raynor Massage with Dave Taylor, and it was an absolutely brilliant experience. The skills, wisdom and support that Dave shares during his courses are full of insight, practicality, clarity and inspiration. I have finished the courses feeling fully empowered to offer an exceptional standard of massage care, within a solid business framework that will be sustainable for years to come. Dave is immensely generous and thorough in what he shares with his students, and he is an absolutely delightful person to learn from.

I started seeing Dave last year at his practice in Hastings and found he is very good at what he does and the benefits of Raynor Massage are huge. When recently considering a career change, although having no experience in this area, I decided to take the plunge and book onto one of his courses. I'm so pleased I did!The Devon course is very comprehensive, which gave me the confidence to proceed with a new business venture on returning home. I found the learning well paced with time in the evenings for extra practice if you wanted to go over anything. The surroundings in Devon are beautiful and we were very well looked after by The Retreat People, delicious food, morning yoga and space to chill out during your learning all made this a wonderful learning environment. I found the course literature, made up of text and online videos particularly helpful to refer back to and consolidate learning once returning home. I have made some good friends and found this a really worthwhile and positive experience. Thank you!

I recently took Dave Taylor's massage training course in Devon. It was a really amazing experience.Dave is very friendly, easy going and incredibly knowledgeable.His passion for massage and for teaching others well genuinely shines through.He taught us so much during the course of the week and was able to answer questions on anything and everything.His teaching style is incredibly natural.We all had the pleasure of receiving some massage from Dave during the training, Raynor massage is like nothing I have ever received before. Deeply satisfying!I recommend this course to anyone, whether you have a background in massage or not.The whole week was truly transformational.I wish I could do it all over again!

What a fantastic course & teacher! I couldn't recommend Dave Taylor highly enough. He is a truly wonderful teacher - he is attentive, caring and passionate about what he does.I joined the Devon retreat at Natsley Farm for the certificate & diploma course and loved every moment. Following this training in a retreat setting was wonderful: morning swims & yoga, delicious, healthy, vegetarian food, Raynor massage training every day with Dave, it's a week of fun, of learning, of relaxation. Dave also has a great sense of humor & makes learning fun!

Had the Best Training in any subject , in this case a professional Diploma in Raynor Massage, which I have attended. Each day followed a similar structure, with sessions of theory in the mornings followed by practical massage hands on with another student taking turns, with free use of the massage room where we could do self practice with another student to embed our learning. Dave's presentation was excellent, with anecdotes from years of his own experience. Every aspect, from fabulous meals to the Farmhouse location and accommodation was 5 star. I rate it as 5 stars and excellent value for Money.

I have always wanted to learn how to massage and an opportunity arose for me to be able to so recently. I spent an evening searching online for a short course that would give me excellent qualifications. I came across Dave Taylor’s web page and I was very impressed by the two courses offered, the prices, professionalism and most importantly what previous students had to say about the courses.I chose to do the combined Certificate and Diploma courses lasting two weeks. The courses were held in Putney in a boat house on the river bank. It was a lovely location, easy to find and we had free time at lunch-break to eat with the other students. I met some really lovely people on both courses. I was quite nervous about learning a new skill in my fifties, but the courses were great and Lori and Dave had endless patience with us all. We learned very quickly and the Diploma course covered a little reflexology, aromatherapy and very importantly some business skills. If you are thinking of learning massage, I can’t recommend these courses highly enough. If you think you couldn’t possibly do it - you can - if I can, anyone can.

Excellent course, covers a lot of what you need to start a new career in massage therapy or to improve an existing one. Dave and his assistants are brilliant and make you feel valued and most important you receive the help and necessary guidance without waisting time with unnecessary bla blas" to fill up the hours. I attended this course last week and absolutely loved it. Dave as a teacher, for me, was perfect. He explained things in a nice and simple way and during the practicals split the training into him showing us and then us practicing. If you’re looking for a weeks intensive course where you can learn the skills needed to practice massage and take away some business skills at the same time, then this is the course for you. Dave is professional but also makes the learning environment fun and as I don’t tend to learn from sitting down with a book and written exams this style of learning was perfect for me.
