So after a few years of not fishing these lakes as they where not the best lakes in Crawley, yesterday I wend down for a day session and oh my god was I surprised.I had peg 17 on woodpeckers and not only does the whole venue look 100 times better than it did but the 7 fish that I caught where in a great condition and put up a good fight. I am so happy I chose to go back and it looks like the owners have made a big effort on this venue. There was still the long walk from the car park to the top of rhe lake but it was so worth while when you have such a great days fishing.Thank you and I will be back very soon.... maybe even today!

I began fishing Woodpeckers & Ospreys after getting back into Carp fishing last year, & it has become a firm favourite, a peaceful place in a beautiful setting. The Fish I have landed are always in excellent condition & are a challenge to catch, making it extremely rewarding when you do. The swims are well kept & the lakes are well maintained. This is one of the best day ticket fisheries in the area. The lakes are a credit to the owners who are always welcoming on arrival . 10/10

Had a great afternoon on the Woodpeckers lake yesterday. Fish biting from the get go (unheard of in other local fisheries at the moment).Used to fish here as a kid and so glad I came back, the fish are really healthy and clearly the lakes are well looked after with so many different features and swims to choose from.Really nice owners too, very chatty and helpful. Definitely recommend fishing here, I'm going back tomorrow!!

I rate the lakes 5 star, they are maintained to a high standard, every peg is clean and tidy, dip nets in place too and Shelter too,Fantastic small lake for the younger generation, right upto large lakes with some very good size fish, Surrounding are beautiful, all you will hear is the birds, day tickets are very fairly priced and the owner are more then helpful with a warm welcome

Beautiful lakes and views.Really well kept, clean and tidy.My first time coming here with my partner who has been here a few times now.We ended up completely forgetting to pack our bottles of water and it was hot !! We rang the owners and they couldnt of been more helpful, Dianne filled bottles for us and let us refill if needed. Very generous people. Lovely place and well looked after. Will definitely be back again ! :) x

This Fishery is absolutely superb, Quiet, clean and great fishing. The Baliff is an absolute gentleman and very fair. He made time to have a good old chat and made the whole experience a joy for myself and my wife to visit. It is local for myself and I will be visiting here on a regular basis.BUT, Don't tell everyone :-)

A beautiful, tranquil setting for two lovely lakes. Every single fish we caught was fin perfect.Simple float fishing we caught small bream, roach, Rudd, brown goldfish, orange koi, perch common (14lb) mirror (20lb)The only downside is the long walk. But because of that you don’t actually get disturbed by cars in and out all day

Had a fantastic day there with all the family. The children managed to catch so many fish from penny's pond. They loved it.!I managed to land five carp, three off the top with bread and two on corn close to the island of kingfisher lake.Bit of a push down to the lake, but well worth it. Barrow a must.Could do with a loo for the ladys in our group being a little closer to the lakes, as had to return to the car park each time. ( bit of a jog). Will be back there again as soon as we can.Great value for money. Thanks to the owners for making our visit a success.! !

Lovely place with lots with fish to catch! Very reasonable day ticket price for 2 lakes and 2 ponds with plenty of space between swims. First time I came here I had to return on the following day! For a beginner like me fishing on the float this is ideal and broke my pb on the few species in only two days!
