We recently sold our property through Pattinsons Morpeth and were really impressed with how well the sale of our house was done (both times!). Amanda, Lisa, Eryn and Poppy were knowledgeable, friendly and were able to advise well on all things regarding the property sale. Within hours of our property going up for sale, they had arranged multiple viewings and kept us well up to date with times, feedback and next steps. Our first sale fell through close to completion and they found another buyer within 2 days. They dealt patiently with my many questions and follow ups and were always professional, helpful and personable, helping me at every step. I would highly recommend them - they know the market extremely well and make the process as hassle free as possible...thankyou!

We bought a house for sale with Pattinsons recently and have since decided we won’t ever consider a house for sale with them again since the process of dealing with them has been so poor. From the beginning to end, communication and updates have been terrible. You’re unable to get through a lot of the time and the sales progression side of the process was poor. Our estate agent telephoned us daily with an update and her handover would regularly include ‘Ive tried several times to call but haven’t gotten through..’. An offer was agreed on the property under the stipulation that we needed to move by august. The message re. Urgency and need for completion was formally handed over 5 times by our estate agent to pattinson sales progression staff and by us informally several times too. Unfortunately we don’t think this message was communicated back to the owner of the house we were buying and combined with her poor solicitors we came to a point where we weren’t able to trust Pattison with anything. And our move took place several weeks later causing us to put our things in storage to allow the rest of the chain to progress. Right through to collecting the sales board (it was never changed to sold!) at the end of it all..We would recommend avoid this estate agents and sadly we have friends and family who all have echoed similar experiences.

Catastrophic. We came up to see a rental flat between lockdowns and were assured that the landlords were very pleasant and lovely people. On this basis we rented the property, but what we were told could not have been further from the truth. It turned out that the landlord was a local self opinionated business man with whom it seems Pattinsons wanted to get along. The landlords could not care less when the washing machine back flowed into the sink, that the sink would barely drain (no matter how much spent on drain cleaners), that the shower was leaking, that the door Chubb lock was inoperable etc etc. We endlessly received one words answers or were ignored for weeks on end. We were evicted last December, despite being the perfect tenants simply because the asked the lady’s guest from the flat above to move their car as it was blocking our garage. It turned out this ‘offended’ her and - as luck would have it - she was friends with the landlords, despite complaining about them to us regularly. This was made all the worse by the fact that the landlords knew my father had just died. Yet they refused to take a call from us or discuss the matter via email. And then it took three months and the threat of legal action to get our deposit back. All in all, the landlords were not the lovely people Pattinsons made them out to be.EDIT - Pattinsons replied (below) but they were CC'd into all the emails during the whole nightmarish saga, and showed no interest whatsoever in what was happening. I can only conclude that they don't like to be shown up publicly. And - worse - they have just rented the property out to another poor sap, despite knowing how the landlords behaved.Oh - and almost a year after we moved out, Pattinsons emails my partner and I demanding over £18,000 in 'unpaid rent'. They quickly admitted they were in the wrong, but it does go to show the level of incompetence at this place: they never updated their systems. Quite sad, actually - but another warning to use another estate agent.
