So far we've never had a bad bag of chips from here, they've always been decent. Free tin of pop if you spent over a certain amount too.

Quality hot food, can get busy but the guys work well when it's busy and because of the turnover you always get hot food. The portions were large.

Ordered 2 large haddock and chips with peas and curry today. Was served 4 pieces of fish. Was a bit unsure as not 2 large. Had 2 pieces each, but have to say although not 1 large fish it was very tasty. Chips were great too. Mushy peas and curry very tasty but large portions have shrunk. Loved it all though and not a scrap was wasted. Perfect. Definitely recommend.

Ended up in Scunthorpe, and decided to go here as when I used to work in Scunthorpe it was always busy, which is always a good sign.To be fair, I was a little bit surprised when I went in, as it is a very traditional fish and chip shop, and I was expecting something much more modern.However take that as a positive, not a negative.Ordered chips, homemade fishcake and gravy, and it was lovely.Couldn't fault it at all, and no wonder it is always busy, if it turns out reasonably priced quality like this.Next time I get the opportunity, I'll be back to try their fish n chips.10/10.
